The contents and language of the gender studies class were okay, but the questions of my fellow students... Maybe it's just me, because I'm not used to people participating in class, but people did not put themselves in a good light.
i guess it's a good thing then that they are in that class and learning :)

And in turn we pay tuition to receive these outdated ideals. Makes a lot of sense, right?
to be fair, luckily in belgium, tuition is quite a paradise compared to other countries, and i mean the prof was lowkey advocating for more rights and agency, despite the crappy language, so it's not all bad, but yeah, i wish educators at least knew and acted better, because it's their responsibility. i mean i know that this prof means well, i just wish he realized that his way of talking about these issues leaves the transphobia of fellow students completely unchallenged and even encouraged :/
