HELLO,,, i am glad you’ve enjoyed the thoughts. it’s just SO much fun to project onto them like. you consider the fact of how much more interesting the show would be with leads who aren’t white. and how it could tackle the subject of racism in america re: their hunting methods aren’t as easy as pretending to be feds (could have done some COOL teamups with rufus re: this.) and re: the self-criticism and realization that hunting IS an allegory for policing as well and understanding what that means when you yourself are a STRANGER to the culture you live in despite having basically grown up in it and working to change and abolish the system rather than be an accomplice to it.
but also in that same vein like. okay what if sam and dean have that “tortillas con chile” conversation with jack.
“dean, que son las enchiladas?”
“ah. pues son tortillas con chile. se les pone crema, y queso fresco. tambien se le puede poner frijoles o pollo.”
“y las flautas?”
