“That Deputy friend of yours...Pratt, was it? Yeah. He’s pretty nice but he says some weird shit, y’know? Talks about the end of days. Last thing we need to hear is him mumblin’ about Joseph being right.”

“Deputy Pratt’s been pretty active around the bunker. He’s cleaning the place up, organizing preserves, and even doing laundry. He doesn’t wanna help with cooking dinner, though. And I can understand why after all the shit he’s seen.”

“One time I saw Staci take down a deer with one bullet. It was super cool, man! He looked really stoic too. Like an action hero. Guy could be in one of Guy Marvel’s movies if he tried hard enough.”

NPC Dialogue From Staci (Said to Joey!)

“I can’t see how you’re able to still try and fight for the law with Eden’s Gate running around. Especially with all the shit John did to you. Guess that’s par for the course, huh? Doin’ anything to subvert someone’s expectations?”

“Jo, d’you think once this is all over we could just spend a day outta town? Preferable outta the state. Preferably far away from here. I dunno what we’d do. All I ask is you drive. I’ll pay for gas. We deserve a run away day.”

he watched her secretly when she put her hair back into place.      joey  rarely  stayed  too  long ,  always  made  sure  to  leave  before  the  light  of  the  rising  sun  gave  away  their  little  secrets  --------------    tonight  was  not  meant  to  be  different .  when  she  turned  around ,  just  before  their  eyes  were  about  to  meet ,  he  looked  away .  jacob  was  quiet ,  though  a  troubled  mind  kept  his  never  ending  thoughts  busy .  STACI  PRATT  WAS  DEAD .  he  met  her  with  the  plan  to  tell  her  before  anyone  else  of  the  resistance  would  do  so      (  because  now ,  he  hoped  for  the  tiniest  chance  of  explaining  himself  -------------    although  there  was  not  much  to  explain  )    ,  though  he  did  not  blow  his  chance  to  take  advantage  of  her  not  knowing  about  it .  he  did  not  want  to  fight .  he  wanted  her ,  wanted  her  body  and  he  took  it  because  he  knew  it  was  going  to  be  the  last  time  she  came  back  to  him  so  easily .               ❝   before  you  go ,   ❞               he  spoke ,  clearly  hesitating  as  he  sat  on  the  bed  on  the  other  side  of  the  room .               ❝   there’s  something  you  should  know .   ❞
