hmm i'm going off of how i act on my hockey blog bc i'm a sad mess on my personal and irl. i am def more silly bc even tho i'm an awkward goof irl too, there's just more space on here for me to indulge myself. i also think i'm more patient and articulate when it comes to interactions. maybe bc there's a screen between me and someone else so i have more time to think over what i want to communicate? not sure if this is a persona tho hm hm
“there's just more space on here for me to indulge myself“ i think this is spot on, right, like, you have a blog (or for some people several blogs) devoted to specific interests, which means you can explore things in a deeper way and to a greater extent...imo that’s an indulgence of an interest, and probably really freeing for a lot of people as personal expression
i think it’s interesting you find yourself as more patient...most people tend to let the screen allow them to become impatient, and lash out at others more easily because there’s a degree of separation? i feel like people are way more thoughtless to others emotions over the internet for this reason. it’s cool that you take it as a reason to think things through more when communicating with others.
