Killian rolled his eyes, smirking, the captain pretending like he had no idea what the other was referring to. He didn’t seek out danger and thrills for the pure sake of such things; he didn’t defy the fates and the gods themselves for the thrill of it. It just happened. The world insisted on dealing Killian a crappy hand over and over and he was going to do all he could to fight back against it. If that meant seeking whatever danger and thrills he could in the process–then so be it.
