In this cottage garden plants of Brassica oleracea (Acephala Group) 'Redbor' (curly leafed kale) are being used to provide dramatic foliage in these ornamental borders. Kale will thrive in a fertile, deep soil with high moisture retention and will provide leaves to harvest through the autumn and winter.
