One of the things I love about Hogwarts Legacy is the fact that everyone has their own MC, and that the existence of one MC does not negate the existence of another. However, I find that I quite often, and quite unfairly, amuse most f!MCs are self-inserts of people who want to “be a part of the magic” of Hogwarts. Of course, there is nothing wrong with self-insert type characters, but I do wonder how many people actually consider their MC as a self-insert…
