An unexpected Message...
*Sitting on the couch, Ender scrolls through her phone as the news plays in the background. It was talking about "heroes" starting to get involved, after those police officers were mysteriously found dead outside an address that was discovered exactly where Ender should've been.*
*She changes the channel, sighing.*
How can anyone stand that garbage?
*As she does more with her phone, a text suddenly pops up. It was an unknown number, but when she clicks on it, she freezes.*
*It was AFO. No doubt.*
*He asks her how she was doing, to which she responds with a simple good.*
*Thw two text back and forth, all casual talk, until he asks one question.*
"Have you made up your mind yet?"
"Made up my mind...?"
"About the deal. You know which one I'm talking about."
"...I- guess I did..."
*She looks at Hawks' bedroom door, taking a shaky breath.*
"...I can't do anything
right now. Dabi's with him."
"...I see. Don't worry, take your time. I can wait.."
*Ender puts her phone down, staring at it silently. Was she really considering this..?*
*She curls up on the couch, watching TV. She didn't feel like dealing with this right now...*
