i like to think younger micheal has.. almost a mullet? but not quite?? idk but i have a cut similar to how i imagine it and it is a BITCH to style nicely without hairspray and heat so imagine having him sit on the floor of his room, music playing loud and you sitting on the edge of his bed behind him with a hairdryer, brush and hairspray and styling his hair for him

or before he cuts his hair it always gets in his face so sometimes while hes working on something you come up behind and pull it up into a small ponytail for him

either way it always fills his chest with love, and he can hardly bring himself to wake you up when you do fall asleep- the only reason he does is so you arent hurting in the morning.

and the days you are awake always have him ushering you to bed as quickly as he can- muttering i love yous under his breath and telling you "you dont have to stay up for me" and you always reply "i will because i love you" and every time he can feel himself tearing up

or post scooping, him jolting awake from a nightmare and just. looking at you to calm himself down. taking in all of it- the details (or what he can make out in the dark and with one half blind eye) of your face, the way your hair spreads across the pillow, fuck- just the fact that youre still here with him. it always spins back to how he thinks he doesnt deserve you, but would do anything to not let you go

or maybe him needing to go somewhere, but he looks a little too dead so you do his makeup to make him look at least a little alive, and every time he thanks you with a few kisses, and every time you have to touch it up because godDAMMIT micheal you just finished

or running your hands along the scars on his chest, oh so gently as to not irritate them, whispering compliments and nicknames and sending him into a tizzy. even after all this you still think hes beautiful somehow- even if he doesnt understand why.
