Their Connected Destination
Obtainability: Purchasable in the Support Point shop for 2000SP. Formally limited to completing the “Whereabouts of the Feather” event.
MLB Effect: Curse [100%] (Target / 1 Turn)
Effect Definitions:
Curse is a Status Ailment that will damage the afflicted target for 15% HP per turn, make the target take 80% more damage from its weak element, and prevent the target from recovering HP. Curse chance can stack. Note that damaging Status Ailments have a stacked maximum of inflicting 10,000 HP done per turn.
TLDR: “Their Connected Destination” is great for the Hundred Evils, letting you destroy pesky Survives. Even though it’s “only” curse, it’s still good to have around.
Review: “Their Connected Destination” is a decent memoria. You can compare it to the memoria “Magical Halloween Theater” which also provides Curse (on a four-turn cooldown), but gives 45% Defense Down additionally. Obviously this makes “Magical Halloween Theater” better to use than “Their Connected Destination”, but that doesn’t make “Their Connected Destination” bad by any means.
Curse on its own is simply powerful as all hell. Take a look at that effect definition. Curse is a great way of making your units deal more damage (provided they are the enemy’s weak element). Any unit on the team can use it, meaning you can give your less powerful characters this memoria and save better offensive memoria for your big attackers.
An added bonus for this memoria: you can use it to fuck up a pesky enemy’s survive! What makes Survive so annoying? Well, Survive will cause the unit to survive any fatal attack. When the effect is triggered, the target won’t die until the start of their next turn, and they will regenerate a set amount of HP.
This can be very annoying in battles such as the Hundred Evils, where Survive can prevent you from killing enemies quickly, causing them to regen to half (or even full) health-- and since you can’t kill them, it also means you sometimes can’t prevent them from using Magia.
However, Curse (and curse alone) can fix this! On the same round you plan to kill the pesky enemy unit with survive, use “Their Connected Destination” (or “Magical Halloween Theater”) on them. The enemy unit will continue to survive that round, but at the end of it, they will be unable to regen HP. After their failed HP Regen, the Curse’s damage will take place, and kill them! Amazing, perfect. Be sure to field this memoria and “Magical Halloween Theater” in your Hundred Evil runs from now on.
Overall, a very good memoria to have on hand.
