I found the cursed building on my campus
I wasn’t on campus the last few semesters because of covid, I was online, so I didn’t explore many buildings on my campus, but I have found the building on campus that just. Doesn’t make any sense.
- I walk in. My class is on the 3rd floor. I go up a flight of stairs. I am now on the first floor. The other one was the ground floor. I go up another flight of stairs. I’m now in a narrow hallway with absolutely no one in it. The doors are not marked with the floor number, but I assume I am on the second floor
- I go to the end of the hallway and find another set of stairs. I go up them. I look at the plaques on the doors. I am now on the second floor.
- I go up yet another flight of stairs. Surely I am on the third floor, right? Wrong. I’m somehow still on the second floor. I go up one more flight of stairs. I am finally on the third floor.
- The women’s bathroom and the janitor closet are right next to each other. The men’s bathroom is nowhere in sight.
- I spotted the men’s bathroom on a different floor. There was no women’s bathroom near it.
- The building from the outside at ground floor looks like it’s 2 stories, max. And yet, I feel in my bones that if I walked around on the third floor long enough, I’d find a set of stairs going to a fourth floor.
- I was wandering around looking for the bathroom today, and I wandered onto the floor with no floor number again. Despite the fact that I don’t remember any turns last time I was there, I found a new section of it!
This stuff was in the new section. This isn’t an art building.
- It’s probably worth mentioning that there was an elevator entrance near this stuff. I don’t think I’ve seen the elevator on the ground floor, which is why I take the stairs.
- My sister has also been to this building! However, she’s never had any trouble finding her classes, or ever been on the floor without a number. She’s also relatively certain that there are only two floors in the building. What the fuck.
OwO What's this?
my "local" walmart is so fucking intolerably loud it's genuinely disorienting. i always think "oh you just have sensory issues it's not that bad" then i get in there and it's like i'm being deafened by walls of noise on all sides. i'll be in the produce section completely alone hearing people shouting and miscellaneous roaring sounds. it's so crazy. i've been in 8 different walmarts in recent memory and it's the loudest one by miiiiiiiles i'll never understand it.
MIilan, story of a cursed building
In Milan, in via Torino, core of the city, and an important shopping street, a few steps from Piazza Duomo, there is a seven-storey building, which houses commercial spaces.
It looks like a very attractive property for investors, yet, over the years, many companies have gone bankrupt and closed: Standa, Fnac, Billa, Trony. It's a huge building, and business failure causes the loss of shitton of money.
So much so that the building has acquired the reputation of being cursed.
In 2018 it was taken over by Primark, determined to defeat the curse, but in 2020, at the end of the renovations, the pandemic exploded, delaying the opening by two years.
Covid 1 - Primark 0
Now it's open, and we'll see if Primark is stronger than the curse.
had my face in metal primer, auto paint, clay bars and wax all afternoon and yet it's only when I go inside my house that my allergies go nuts
