Ladrien umbrella theory time!
It seems like a trend this season is to provide callbacks to the first umbrella scene, the one in Origins.
We had these gems in Mr Pigeon 72 and recently in Glaciator 2.0 (still screaming about it).
Why now, why after all these seasons with nary a mention?
Considering how lowkey these were, originally I thought it was fanservice (not bad at all, I will always take an umbrella scene) but now I'm thinking these were to provide callbacks to the very first (chronological) episode of the season, in preparation for this bomb in the 100th.
What does this have to do with ladrien you may ask?
Well, we know there will be a ladrien episode (there is one every season) and the likely candidates are Psychomedian or Gabriel Agreste.
I'm proposing that, whichever episode, the ladrien episode will be include an umbrella scene.
But, it will be lowkey, like the adrinette and marichat one we had.
To prepare us for the big one, the one where the love square blurs into a single line.
Until then, for the ladrien fans I give you this to help tide us over until then.
Now of course, the fun is speculating what the ladrien umbrella scene might be like. I got a bunch of ideas but would love to hear others 👀👀👀👀
