The problem with getting better doing tailoring is "I'm just gonna raise the waist on this dress real quick so it fits better" rapidly turns into "as long as I'm ripping seams I might as well redo the bust darts" Y'all have no idea how hard it was to stop myself from going full out and reshaping the armscyes as well... on a dress that fit passably well from the clearance rack.
