First ever bag paint! Finally finished the front, now just the other side to go 😬

Made this bag for an auction to cover costs of the DIY fashion show I'm organising (21/03 Poznań Pawilon!!!)
The "print" is a bunch of patchwork that I first school glued to fabric cut out of an ill-fitting dress shirt, and then satin stitched down using a machine. I then squared it off neatly by folding the edges and handsewed it to the base bag I got a few christmasses ago and didn't use that much. I made the lining out of a thrifted bedsheet, making sure it lines up neatly with the edge of the bag.
I wanted the design to be neutral to maximise the chances of it selling well, so the only patch with words says "scilence is better than nonsense" which is timid enough to not cause any pearl clutching.
I also made this stuffed star charm out of canvas screen printed with documents that I got from a friend who made it in college, I whipstitched it all the way around, filled the middle with scraps from my thread jar, and added a small d-ring. It's attached to the strap using a keyring, so it's removable.
In the back there was a tiny hole so I put an anti-conservative symbol patch on it.
Love how this turned out, took one day of work in total, hoping it sells for at least 50€ so we can pay the contestants more than just the transportation fee.

next, the window!! one of my fav parts of bags! sadly, my excalibur sonic figure wouldn't fit, so he won't be a part of the bag💔💔 but i do have this super cute plush that i'm taking with me as a little excalibur sonic (which was actually my first ever sonic plush!!)
then putting it all on the new bag + new stuff!! i unfortunately couldn't fit most of my keychains, so i put them elsewhere for display and safekeeping! (also ofc a picture of just my favorite little sillies and my custom keychain of my beloved wife)
