We often challenge our competitive athletes to train themselves into the shortest rope possible. Sometimes reducing their length as much as a foot shorter than our standard sizing chart. Here are the reasons why. 1. A shorter rope forces the hands into a more efficient position close to the body and under the shoulders reducing fatigue. 2. A shorter rope makes a smaller orbit around the body thus creating a faster cycle rate with less energy expended. 3. A shorter rope is lighter than a longer rope. 4. Lastly, a person accustomed to jumping with a short rope can easily adapt to a longer rope when necessary, whereas, a person used to a longer rope has a much more difficult time jumping with a shorter rope making them skilled obsolescent. . . . #rxsgathlete | @chynacho ... #rxsmartgear #chinacho #customjumpropes #doubleunders #crossfit #fitness #elite #jumprope #cardio #fitnessgear #crossfitgear #elevateyourfitness #crossfitwomen #CrossFitGirls #theofficialjumpropeofcrossfit #theofficialjumpropeofusaboxing #theofficialjumpropeofusawrestling
