Thief of Void introvert who loves dogs books and magic. Has crippling social anxiety.

While your Thief of Voidisn’t the most popular of people, they’re incredibly popular with the caninesthey love so much! They know enough about dog behavior to get along with the smallestshihtzu and the most massive of mastiffs, and they’re way easier to deal withthan people. Their closest friends joke about the Thief’s witchy familiar beingevery single dog in existence, and let’s be real, they might be right! The Voidplayer also learned that when forced to make small talk with human beings, theycan usually get away with talking about dogs. I mean, dogs are cute and fun andhappy, why wouldn’t you want to talkabout dogs? Though when one of the Void’s friends sees them stutter and talkabout Doberman terriers, they should probably excuse the both of them and seeif the snack table is any good.

If your Thief of Void isa fan of the Harry Potter franchise, which they probably are, they will insistthat every single book written is improved when given a Harry Potter AU. Itdoesn’t matter if you’re talking about WutheringHeights or Homer’s The Odyssey, thisVoid player knows perfectly well that involving Hogwarts somehow will makething interesting. To be honest, the Thief is less likely to write up thesereally unique ideas, and really just hope that someone else thought of it first and wrote it for them. They usuallystick to written materials though, because the Void player prefers to not havean exact image for each character that visual art would provide; sometimes it’sbetter to just have a nebulous idea of what they look like and only remembertheir hair color when necessary. In any case, if you have that badly neededHarry Potter and Kafka’s Metamorphosiscrossover, please provide for the Thief of Void. Also, please consider why andhow you found this in the first place.

Since the Thief of Voidis not a fan of the limelight, they have a way with avoiding situations thatwould involve being visible. This means that people who are pretty social and talkativeassume that the Thief is a really good listener, because what else are youdoing if you’re not talking in a conversation? Unfortunately, the Thief of Voidisn’t an especially good listener either, since they’re prone to daydreamingand planning on what to do when they get home. This can pretty much lead tothem nodding and trying their best to seem invested in this stranger’s issueswhen they really, really don’t care, and they don’t know how to stop thisperson they don’t know from venting to them. The Thief doesn’t need to knowabout your drama, at least not all the time! Although this is a lot cuter whentheir close buddies are talking to them, where the person talking to them willgiggle and tease them for forgetting to pay attention to something the Thief of Void asked this friend.

This is the first time I've ever done this, so I apologize if I'm doing this wrong. In any case, can I request cute things for a clinically depressed Mage of Void <> Page of Life? Thanks, your hard work is appreciated.

As your typical Lifeplayer goes, your Page of Life is going to be the excitable dog-friend to themellow and lethargic Mage of Void. If they’re still in school, you can bet thatthe Page would do their best to be the one waking up the Mage in the morning,leaving the Void player both happier and asking, “How did you get into myhouse?” Hilariously, the Page isn’t like this with everyone – as a matter offact, they might be seen as the lethargic one! But there’s something about howthe Mage drags themselves around on their worst days that made the Life playerpity them a ton, and then suddenly the Page of Life wants to make thisincredibly cute Void player happy for some reason. It’s both helped out theMage of Void’s depression and the Page of Life’s sometimes lazy nature.

On the other hand, theMage of Void is pretty good at problem solving and finding results, that sortof thing. If they’re total nerds, the Mage and the Page will chill together andsolve those old riddle books they sell in grocery stores, or watch thoseYouTube videos where you’re supposed to pause before they reveal the totally legit and practical answer. YourPage of Life isn’t very good at following the rules and will come up with theworst solutions, while the Mage of Void is just really good at finding bettersolutions. Until you try it, there’s nothing as fun as tearing down someone’spublished and professional brainteaser that’s actually terribly worded andspecific.

Although that’s not tosay they don’t do a bunch of lovey-dovey moirail stuff too! They do havedifferent ways of expressing it, but both the Page and the Mage appreciate it aton. For example, your Page of Life probably likes a lot of physical intimacy,like cuddling, dancing, hugging, that sort of thing. They’re also probably thefirst to grab their moirail’s hand and soothe them with some solid contact.Meanwhile, your Mage of Void will probably have a lot of things to say abouthow much they love their Page, but it’s… not the most conventional way. Theymight compare their darling Life player to snake-like hands reaching from theabyss, which are pretty comforting when they embrace you, or maybe just say, “HeyPage… you’re cute I guess.” The giggles that erupt from the both of them isalmost too saccharine, but it still counts as adorable!

No one likes that one personwho borrows money from you and never pays you back; luckily, you won’t findthis in a Thief of Breath. Even when it’s against their favor, the Thief wouldrather deal with their problem (or run away from it, same thing) than to inconveniencetheir friends. I mean, when you borrow something, both the borrower and thelender have a sort of tension between them until the debt is payed back, and it’scaused some issues in the past for the Breath player. Now, if you give them an object, such as indicatingthat they can keep your pencil since you have so many on you, they’re totallyfine. The Thief of Breath’s weird rules against this sort of thing ishilarious, since they just don’t wanna deal with remembering giving somethingback and all that, but it’s cute to see them avoid being tied down in such amanner.

The other things Thievesof Breath seem to have in common is drooling over some sort of fast vehicles;maybe they’re really into sports cars, or motorcycle racing, or parasailing.Though usually they have no way to indulge into their love of speed themselves;usually it’s a financial reason. Fast things are pricey after all! Though ithasn’t stopped the Breath player from finding a steep hill to bike down,reaching a mph that isn’t safe for anyone.Hopefully they’re wearing a helmet, and have someone nearby who has 911 onspeed dial. In the end though, all they want is feeling the gust in their face,and the weird feeling in their stomach, and that sheer force! Someone take themto a roller coaster and see if that works for them. I promise, it’ll be fun forat least one of you!

There’s a distinctdifference between clean and organized; for example, your room can be sorted andneatly organized but caked in dust and weird stains. Your Thief of Breath tendsto be the opposite; they keep their spaces clean but not so organized. You won’tfind any weird hairs and dust flecks lying in the corner, but they don’t reallyknow how to get rid of unneeded things, so they have a substantial amount ofclutter. The Breath player doesn’t really want to deal with that sort of thing,so they don’t have an ultra-stylish minimalistic aesthetic, but it has its owncharm in a way. You know those apothecary shops that are quaint in its lack ofprofessionalism? Or those libraries with picturesque stacks of books lyingabout? Same concept. The Thief doesn’t seem to get it, but other people seem tolike the way they keep things.

mage of void<>sylph of life pls?

Absolutely!

Both the Sylph of Lifeand the Mage of Void really want those cool machines that carbonate anybeverage for you, but for entirely different purposes. Your Sylph wants to makecool new drinks, or just really likes sparkling mineral water. You know, normalthings one would do with a soda maker. On the other hand, your Mage of Void knowsyou can make some horrible combinations and really wants to make the worstdrinks imaginable. Anyone want a tall glass of fizzy gravy? Or maybe a horseradish-infusedseltzer? Surprisingly, your Sylph finds the Mage’s antics hilarious, and onlyever objects when the Void player wants to add something toxic to the mix. Andyes, sometimes the Mage of Void just wants something palatable that the Sylphbrewed up. Honestly they’re having way too much fun with this.

If your Mage of Void isa connoisseur of video games, as in they play the save five games over and overagain, they’ll eventually find a lot of mistakes or hidden things from the gamedevelopers, stuff that even the internet hasn’t found yet. Of course, the Mageloves showing off to the Sylph, because let’s be real, finding this stuff ispretty cool. Your Life player might not see the appeal of finding these loosethreads, whether they’re a gamer or not, but they’re always happy for the Mageand their accomplishments. Though after a while, the Sylph of Life might joinin and help their palemate scour areas for potential glitches. Sure you mightwalk in on the Mage cheering loudly, “Nice, going into this unfinished roommakes your arms go missing!” but try not to get too worried about them.

Seeing that the Mage ofVoid probably spends more time indoors than what’s considered healthy, theSylph of Life likes giving them a bit of greenery to make their bedroom a littlemore oxygenated. Though knowing the Void player, it has to either be those plantsthat flourish well in the dark, or some sort of carnivorous specimen. We alllove a good Venus flytrap, after all, but a good carnivorous bromeliad or somebutterwort can work nicely too. The cutest part is when the Mage shows all thegreat things they’ve been doing for their plant gifts, such as giving them bettersoil and some of the carbonated water they have. It’s not to show off theirskills, but a way to show how much they appreciate these tokens from their belovedmoirail. And yes, the Mage of Void gets the Sylph plants as gifts too, but they’reusually just really dark-colored flowers because, “You deserve a goth garden.”
