kakagai hc: on nights that kakashi stays up super late and knows gai will wake up early to train, he meal preps for gai. puts milk and sugar into the thermos, sets up whatever his morning drink of choice is so that when Gai wakes up, he just needs to press brew. whatever dish he's been experimenting with, a bento box is ready in the fridge with a sticky note of a doodle, no words. he goes to bed and sleeps with gai for a couple of hours, then gai is able to get out the door a little faster at dawn and got the act of service kakashi is able to provide when he doesn't need to say the words "i love you".
Ahhh I love this.
I can imagine Kakashi waking up from nightmares realizing he needs to calm down and get his mind off of things, so he chooses to all of this because it gives him something to focus on and allows him to do something nice for Gai.
Or he's just struggling to get to sleep so he decides to spend a little more energy, and by the time he's done setting everything up he's ready to collapse into bed and curl up behind Gai. Hugging him tight against his body as he falls asleep.
Gai never expects to wake up to this little gift. He knows how busy their lives are and how important sleep is, but whenever he see's everything out on the table waiting for him he smiles and makes a mental note to give Kakashi an extra tight back hug when he see's him later in the day. His little way of saying 'thank you' so Kakashi doesn't have to awkwardly explain 'it's nothing i just thought it would be nice and i couldn't sleep'.
he doesn't want to make Kakashi uncomfortable, but he does want him to know he's appreciative of this little gift.

All I can imagine is this baby, when older(like four), being asked to draw their family in class. You get stereotypical four year old drawings, except theirs.
With them, you get an Octopus with legs named "Daddy," a hammerhead shark with legs named "Uncle Maccus" and then a stereotypical four year old drawing of a woman labeled "Mummy/Mommy".
Everyone thinks they made it up, maybe because their dad isn't around, until Davy picks them up after school, in which everyone is terrified except the child, who runs happily to him and calls him "Daddy" for all to hear
