Today's polish is a flakey bomb that felt like spring to me. The official description lists it as "a black jelly base with green/orange/yellow/red shifting flakes." This makes it sound like there's one color of flake, but I was definitely seeing two. One looks copper to orange to gold and the other looks green to yellow to gold. Regardless, this color combination reminded me of green shoots pushing through the dirt, which seemed very appropriate for this time of year. This is Saguaro Sunset from Cuticula.

Today's polish was really fun. It has a purple jelly base with a pink shimmer and blue to green shifting glass flakes. The pink shimmer in the purple base was so interesting to me. I don't know if it was the particle size or something else, but the shimmer had a fine but very noticeable visual texture underneath the flakes. It made flakes stand out in a way I thought looked so cool. It did need three coats to get fully opaque, but I think it was worth it. 🤩 This is Crown of Thorns from Cuticula.

Today's polish ALMOST didn't come with any nail art and I'm so glad it did cause I think it turned out adorable! 😍 The base polish is a minty blue-green linear holo that practically shoots off fireworks in the sun. 🤩🤩🤩 I've been wanting to do a springy Totoro mani ever since I got this stamping plate and thought this polish would be perfect for it. I really struggled using this plate though and found myself running out of patience. Thankfully on my last attempt I was able to get it to come together and it's so cute! This is Succulents & Sunshine from Cuticula.

Today's polish is a Valentine's Day crelly. 🩵💘🩵 It has a dusty baby blue crelly base with rose gold metallic flakes and bright pink holographic flakes. I love this kind of V Day polish. It isn't red or pink but it's so easy to see the inspiration. The color of the flakes and holo glitter worked really well with the blue base. Such a cute, sweet color. This is Love is in the Air from Cuticula.

Today's polish was lovely. 💙😍💙 It has a blurple base with turquoise to blue large particle shifting shimmer and silver holographic flakes. My favorite part about this one has to be the shimmer. It enhanced the base color so beautifully. And even though this polish isn't metallic, it had an almost metallic look to it. In the bottle I thought this one would be a wintery shade, but I feel like it would work just as well in the summer. This is Spur of the Moment from Cuticula.

Today's polish almost exactly matched my work pants! 😂 It has a periwinkle crelly base with green to aqua to blue shifting glass flakes and black metallic flakes. It had a fantastic, easy to work with formula and was opaque in 2 coats, although I ended up adding a third that I probably didn't need. As soon as I put it on I thought it would match these scrub pants and while the polish is a shade darker, the color is spot on. I loved the way the glass flakes popped against the base color too. This polish has made me realize I really like periwinkle. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for more polishes like it. 👀 This is Wish Craft from Rogue Lacquer.
