Are there any characters you enjoy but dislike drawing because their character design is tedious?(like super unique hair or intricate tattoos?

Not particularly? Characters i enjoy drawing generally have very simple and easy to parse designs. It helps that my favorite type of hair is generally short, boyish styles where even the worst ones (Caspar from FE: 3 houses, for example) are very simple, even if a lil stupid. The things i REALLY dislike drawing are anime hair designs that are like, purely made out of spikes. Most anime characters that are rendered in 3d (kingdom hearts for example) inflict psychic damage to me specifically because their hair is always a bunch of spikes my brain has trouble parsing. And my perfectionism is like ”You cant just draw a ball of spikes and say its them!” oh no! you gotta stare at it for half an hour and see the really subtle way that clusterfuck of spikes is unique to that character.

like, with super detailed clothes, i can just draw them naked, and tattoos take a long time but are generally easy to figure out. but 3d spikes are like throwing my brain at a pin cushion. 😩
