what color do you think there Ecto would be not in like a sexual way I see Sans mostly using it just to make clothes fit them better or to store extra magic for later. I remember one fanfic where Sans just stored extra magic as a stomach and could absorb it to heal himself.

Chromatic Crew

Epic: Purple or Black. Purple because of the eye for black I don’t know he just seems like someone who would have black Ecto. I think he would be very cold to the touch it’s just how his magic is.

Cross: Red, White, or Purple. I know most times the fandom makes it purple but I can see red or white as well. Although the idea of it being purple because XGaster Magic just stains everyone existence in Xtale would be a cool idea. Otherwise, purple doesn’t make much sense. His magic isn’t just hot it’s burning.

Delta: Orange. Of course it’s orange it’s his whole thing and a lot of his magic and abilities are depicted as orange I could see it having a yellow tint however.

Color: It’s every color of the rainbow minus red. He’s basically a lava lamp I imagine that cyan takes precedence not just because that’s what it used to be but also Patience is just the trait he relies on most. Killer: Blue, Red, Black, Pink. Killer canonically blushes blue so I could see his Ecto being the same. Red to match his soul. Black because it’s super cool and cause of his eye goop. Pink like a reddish pink mainly cause of stage 3 Influence. Perhaps his Ecto color changes with his stages. Blue in Stage 1. Black in Stage 2. Pink in Stage 3. Red in Stage 4.

Others

Ink: Black, Iridescent White, or Rainbow. Black for Ink, Whiteis his natural state, and rainbow cause of his tongue

Dream: Gold with tints of orange and blue. Gold is usually what his magic is portrayed as and Blue because a lot of the time his positivity arrows are drawn this cool blue.

Swap: Blue and Blue it’s in many shades of blue. It should hav gold freckles for the bit of Justice he still has in his soul.

Classic: Blue and Yellow for His magic eye

Fell: Red of course I think it fades from a brighter red into a darker red the higher it gets.

Error: Yellow, Blue, Red. I prefer him with dark blue it just fits but I can also see it being red or even yellow or a mix of the three. Horror: I imagine a murky red or even a brilliant blue and gold now faded from the ashes of his magic he once held within his skull. Because red isn’t really him making the eye glow it’s just the color of the eyeball so I mainly imagine his having a faded out blue and gold.

Dust/Murder: Purple, Blue, and or Red. I think either his magic is the purple of karmic retribution, both blue and red or only red, or only blue. Maybe a mix of all three.

I like to think that Delta has a kinda sunset-like color ecto, kinda like an ecto that ranges from the darkest colors of orange to the lightest oranges, maybe colors that are so dark it looks kinda black. Because I like to think that orange-to-gold, black, and maybe white colors in general would look good on Delta.

Similarly, as opposed to the way the magic of Color’s flames flash different colors like a walking flash warning, I like to think that the color of his ecto blends and flows like a lava lamp when it changes colors, and they’re darker shades. So it’s less like a headache inducing sight and more like a warm, comforting glow.

I actually think that Color’s magic or ecto colors are almost entirely based on the souls’ magic, simply because their magic and strength is what almost entirely keeps him alive now and is the reason he’s so magically strong now.

In a similar vein, I like the idea that Horror doesn’t summon an ecto much or has difficulty doing so—likely to preserve strength and everything, the idea that whatever magic he has left has had to divert to other areas in the name of survival, and ecto isn’t considered a priority.

I also like to think that Killer’s ecto is a bit more on the dark grayish side than pure black, mostly because of the color his “magic eye” flows in that one drawing. And because i think a combination of a blue blush and dark gray ecto is a pretty combo.

I also love the idea that his ecto changes shades depending on what Stage his SOUL is in, such as taking on a color more similar to Sans’ magic the closer Killer gets to a Stage that is more Sans-like, or more connected to that identity, life, relationships, memories, emotions, etc. When he is more like the person he used to be.

I do not expect to be making another ecto body content so soon.

So like, I drew Color's flames with a lot of gradients. And then I decided I should draw Color's ecto with a lot of gradients as well.
