CX-2 Tech

I found one of my edits from my canceled Bad Batch AU.

He wasn't supposed to feel anything in stasis. It was supposed to be like a medically induced coma; he was forced into the pod, injected and then woke up some indeterminate time later when he was needed.

But it was never that simple.

Dreams.

Nightmares.

Things he never experienced plagued his mind.

He could feel the computer code forced into his brain, new corrections for things the empire deemed insufficient. Felt the way his new mechanical limbs were grafted into his nervous system.

He bore it silently, but wanted to scream in pain.

Then...it stopped and he could sleep.

For how long?
