I’ll get you started.  Here’s 100 words on Flufftober’s Day One Prompt “In The Shadows” but it’s not quite fluffy below the cut!

He wasn’t supposed to feel, or question, or dream. C’baoth had been clear: he was a weapon bred, not born—cloned, not conceived. Yet sometimes, in the shadows, Luuke struggled with his master’s directives. He did feel: he felt alone, hollow, a profane chalice crafted only to kill, overflowing with nothingness. He questioned.  Who was his genetic father? Could he desire a son of twisted origin, begotten regardless of his will or knowledge? And Luuke dreamt. Asleep, he saw welcoming blue eyes so unlike his own, Light banishing darkness, a smile destroying the emptiness, and an amorphous strength named Family.

Fic Prompts: Star Wars Wednesday

(Being a proposal for an alternate version of the 7th-9th stories, based on pieces of the EU and my own ideas)

Everything is mostly the same except for a few very important plot points taken from the old Dark Force trilogy.

1. In Force Awakens, everything proceeds as it does in canon up until right after Finn and Rey escape Jakku. It's not Han and Chewie who board the Falcon, it's the twins Ben and Breha Solo (played by Billie Lourd) thinking they've finally caught the thief who stole their dad's ship. (Thus granting us the Funny Ben from the end of 9 that we were robbed of in the other movies, plus Skywalker Twin Shenanigans). Breha and Rey immediately start fighting over who the Falcon likes better. Like, it's on sight. Ben knows he's not even in the running. He's based on Jacen Solo more, in that he gets along better with animals than machines.

2. When they take BB-8 to Maz Kanata's place, the audience would be re-introduced to Han and Chewie in an homage to their first appearance in A New Hope and it would be glorious. Someone 100% loses an arm in a bar. Breha asks Han if he wants her to take any messages to Leia, or if he's about finished with the intel mission he and Chewie have been running. Considering Han was searching for Poe and Poe just turned up, he no longer needs to be spying.

3. Rather than Snoak, the main villain is Joruus C'baoth. "Kylo Ren" is his clone of Luke Skywalker. Because that guy was absolutely wild enough to try to wreck whatever Luke was doing with the new Jedi.

4. In this version of TLJ, the identity of Ren as Luuke would make an excellent reason for Luke pulling a Kenobi. As I recall, having a Force Sensitive Clone like, did stuff to Luke. Like a constant buzzing in his brain? This version will also mean thoughts that sometimes weren't his because he and Luuke were sharing a Force signature/have an odd bond that neither of them would like to have but C'baoth didn't really take their ideas into account.

5. So Luke exiled himself to keep Luuke from tracking the Resistance (like the days when Vader had been hunting him, but a little worse). The guy also has some ptsd from when his clone showed up and destroyed his training academy, killing many of his students. (Like in the books, he and his fellow teachers moved the remaining students to a hidden world after that)

6. Leia and Han adopt Finn. Breha argues that they should adopt Rey as well so they can go on fighting more conveniently. Ben is actually somewhat relieved to have a younger brother who doesn't launch into Baffling Tech Speak the way Poe does.

7. If Rey wasn't a Skywalker at the beginning of the story, she is by the end. But only because Luke asked before Han or Leia could. Honestly just about everyone was willing to adopt her and Finn.

8. Yes, this includes the droids.

9. The First Order is a thing, but they're more of your average criminal organization a la Black Sun. They think they're a super amazing military force, but they honestly only have 3 star destroyers.
