“You can find the triangle’s height by using the pythagorean theorem”, you pointed out.
It was after school hours, and there’s only you and Sakusa in the classroom.
Sakusa silently nodded and proceeded to find the answer.
Never in your wildest dreams you’d be in this situation, to tutor the Sakusa Kiyoomi himself. You kept smiling to yourself the entire time.
“Stop it”, the masked boy snapped at you.
“Stop what?”, you knew what Sakusa might refer to but you chose to play dumb
“That stupid smile of yours is distracting”
You blinked twice in astonishment and you grinned as you blushed, “Saying that only makes me want to smile more”
Sakusa hummed as if trying to stay nonchalant but you can see through his blushing ears.
A young math tutor transmigrated as a student in her favourite character's school. That's it, that's the fic.
(This is just a total self-indulgent fic but I just prefer to write it in reader-insert format)

You woke up to the sound of someone calling your name a little too loud.
That last yell jolted you awake, you got a little dizzy from moving your head from the desk too fast.
"Being good at math is not an excuse for you to sleep during my class", the math teacher, the one who woke you up, scolded you.
You noticed most of your classmates' attention are now on you.
"Sorry, sensei", you apologized.
Your math teacher adjusted her glasses' position. "Why don't you answer the math problem on the board?"
You looked at the said problem in front of you. Statistics, finding the average score of a group of students who took a make-up exam if the overall students' average score is known.
You've taught this particular lesson to one of your students already.
You walked to the board and solved the problem correctly rather quickly, and the teacher dismissed you to go back to your seat.
But before you did so, you stared at the one who's one seat behind yours,
He stared back at you, before he turned his attention to write on his math notes.
You felt how surreal this moment gets you again, and you were seated back with zero attention to your teacher for the rest of the class.
You were just a pretty normal student attending Itachiyama High School, with a huge crush on the ace of your school's volleyball team, who happens to be your classmate.
Having a crush on Sakusa Kiyoomi is easy for you and everyone on his fanbase, that's a normal teenage girl behaviour.
That is until your head was attacked by Sakusa's deadly jump serve on one of his practices you religiously attended.
You fainted, and you woke up on the bed in the school's infirmary, with Sakusa sitting beside you.
He was waiting for you to wake up and apologize, but the way you stared at him makes him worry if he hits you too hard that you lost your mind.
Because usually whenever the two of you have any encounters, you'd have some sort of heart eyes on him and you'd act just like any of his fangirls.
The look on your face were saying you were confused.
Of course you were, because the moment you look into Sakusa Kiyoomi's eyes, you were having a series of flashbacks of your previous life.
"Are you okay?", Sakusa asked you to break the eye contact.
You blinked twice. Your mouth opened before it closed again as words have failed to reach your lips.
What were you gonna say, anyway? 'I'm sorry, I was just having mental images of my previous life which explains my undying love to you because you were my ultimate favourite character?' That would send you to an asylum.
Thankfully, the school nurse greeted you before it gets even more awkward, and Sakusa gets to say his apology before leaving you in the nurse's care.
That incident didn’t stop you from attending Sakusa’s volleyball practices and games.
But something has shifted, Sakusa noticed.
Like how you’re a little more vocal about your thoughts to your classmates,
How you seems a little more braver to answer the teacher’s question, because you seems more smarter and more…mature,
How you offered to tutor your classmates math questions they don’t understand,
And how you effortlessly started a conversation on the bleachers with other students who observed Sakusa’s team practices now.
Because as far as Sakusa noticed, you used to be someone more…private.
(Don’t ask how did Sakusa noticed all of them)
“You’re looking at her more than usual lately”, Komori pointed out as they were on a break in the middle of their practice, water bottles in their hands.
“Shut up”, Sakusa doesn’t want to admit it.
Komori grinned, “Is it because she doesn’t bother you as much now? That she doesn’t confess her love for you every now and then anymore? Did you miss her antics?”
Sakusa stared at his cousin before turning his attention to your figure on the bleachers. You were still talking to a girl from another class.
“I might need her help to tutor me geometry”, Sakusa admitted.
Komori had a feeling his cousin is just making an excuse to talk to you.
“You can find the triangle’s height by using the pythagorean theorem”, you pointed out.
It was after school hours, and there’s only you and Sakusa in the classroom.

Sakusa hummed as if trying to stay nonchalant but you can see through his blushing ears.
You sighed in contentment, and stared at the boy you tutored in bittersweetness. Remembering your past life means you aged more mentally. Despite the fact that you died young in your past life, looking at Sakusa is like looking at the younger students you tutored in your previous life.
Which means you can no longer fantasize about dating him, because the mental age gap kind of weirding you out.
You wonder if you’ll ended up with someone older in this universe.
You didn’t realize Sakusa was eyeing you the whole time. He wondered what was going on in your mind to the point that you zoned out while staring at his eyes.
“You didn’t come to my match yesterday”
His voice sends you back to earth, and you tried to remember yesterday’s events.
“I was tutoring Satō-san”
That irked Sakusa a lot more than he thought it would.
“Did you offer yourself to tutor all the boys in school except me?”
You were surprised by the frustrated tone in Sakusa’s question.
“Uhh, no?”, you answered in confusion, “But you’re not so bad at math that I thought you wouldn’t need my help at all”
“You’re right”, Sakusa put his pencil down, “I never need your help at all”
Looking at your puzzled expression, Sakusa sighed at your clueless state.
“You’re smart but you’re also dumb”, Sakusa stated.
He continued before you could even react for another second, “I might have realize too late that you’ve become an integral part of my life. Please don't drift away from me”
That thought of ending up with someone older in this universe? You’re not so sure about it anymore.
