I liked it before but people pointed out the general lack of development (partially blamed by Namine’s lack of screentime, or relevance in general) which consisted of Namine borderline stalking Roxas in KH2′s prologue, knowing he’s gotta disappear for Sora to come back, and “they’re Kairi and Sora’s Nobodies therefore they should be together too” which is a poor excuse, compared to Days giving us….

This. They had a lot of development and even the light novels refers to their relationship as “Like Sora and Kairi’s” but unlike the above we actually get to see it. The games seem to also be going this direction over RokuNami too.
