It’s probably a bad idea to get attached to people from another world. It’s already got her ‘killed’ once and almost-killed so many times she’s lost count. But there’s something about them, about seeing beyond her own planet, about knowing that aliens aren’t just sci-fi, that they’re fairly fucked-up people just like humans… She wouldn’t trade it, not even to have her biological heart back. Plus, these two? They actually look out for her. There haven’t even been that many humans she could say that about.

from [my fix-it AU] where Bill Potts and ‘Razor’ became actual friends while he kept her safe to prove a point to the Doctor, she figured out who he was, and they collaborated to help the cyberpatients get their autonomy.

“got my TARDIS, got my... friends” Bill stands proud in the middle of a group hug. the 2 gallifreyans both have their screwdrivers out as if ready to protect her. Bill’s cardigan is open and the top section of the cyberheart appears above her multicoloured sleeveless top, looking more like a medallion than a disfigurement. she’s also got a rainbow belt through the belt-loops of her jeans. i feel like this is the most canon-Bill-Potts outfit i’ve put together for the doll yet.

i’m also fairly proud of the kitbashing i did for Bill’s cyberheart. it’s probably recognisable as IronMan parts which is a reference: in one of the fics linked above, she mentions wanting to cosplay Riri Williams at London Comicon some day. i heated the IM parts in boiling water to bend them to a wider angle to fit her chest, then attached with doublesided outdoor foam tape and used tinted gel medium and paint wash to get the scar tissue effect.

@modernwizard made Razor’s ‘zombie prime minister’ jumper and his favourite book about blowing shit up that appears in some of the photos. she also pestered me (... i mean, constructive criticism) until i got the cyberheart just right.
