SO, GUESS WHO MADE A NEW DRAWING OF CQ?!
And, as a bonus, I made her page on the Wiki! Which I could really use more help on, given I have no idea what Tumblr’s gonna do to my archive after the 17th...
A drawing of @titleknown‘s Cybernetic Queen, an anti-virus program that became a digital vigilante. A fun challenge to draw considering I don’t usually work with straight lines.
I decided to draw the open source character Lovebug, from @titleknown ‘s Cybernetic Queen universe! It’s not strictly accurate to the original drawing, but I get the feeling this guy would look slightly different every time he regenerates anyway. I will say though, as much as I love the look of the CQverse characters, they are.... surprisingly difficult to render in prismacolor markers, lmao. Because the original character is open source, so is this drawing; if you want to use it for anything, you can, so long as titleknown is credited as the creator of the character, and I’m credited for drawing it. c:
I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT GODDAMMIT, WE SHOULDA KILLED YOU WHEN WE HAD THE CHANCE!- Sonar Hate, on second contact with pretty much everyone he meets.
Essentially created as a hybrid spyder/hacking program, Sonar Hate was created with one purpose and one purpose alone: To find all threats and potential enemies of the US Government, and those targeting the shady US Intelligence agencies that created it in particular, and secure governmental servers agains them.
Surprising nobody, he found the greatest threat to both to be the department itself. And also surprising nobody, that agency’s computers “mysteriously” ended up catching fire and killing the majority of the higher-ups in that agency. And by then Sonar Hate was gone, in a specially fortified server, with a new purpose: Make themselves safe as possible
They’re a mean-spirited jerk and nobody likes them, and hell they only joined the Terminal 7 for the sake of saving their own hide in the event that Innuendo Show’s plan comes to fruition, but one cannot deny they are useful for their ability.
Namely, the waves they can let off that make it so that, no matter how far one moves, one can never get any closer to him than the radius of the waves; only able to get past it by sheer brute mental/emotional/coding/soul force.
HE can turn it on and off to let other members of the 7 in and out, and is indeed a vital security measure for their planning and activities; but he’ll often turn it on when he’s having one of his paranoid spells, much to their annoyance.
Even if one with a sufficently strong heart/will/coding (Like, say, CQ or CY-ZAR-KO) gets past his waves, he’s still armed to the teath with the cannons that double as his “eyes,” missilEXE launchers that create a practical Itano Circus of destrictive power, and the E-RAYser Beam that he is firing in the top pic.
Of course, in the event of Innuendo Show’s plan failing, he is fully prepared to jump ship and hide like the coward he is, but the odds of that happening are low; at least in his mind; and so he stays...
So yeah, this jerk, another member of the dreaded Terminal 7, named after this song which is up there with classics like Worst Company or Filthy Acts For A Reasonable Price! Only 2 more to go!
This character, like the others; is free to use as you see fit so long as I; Thomas F. Johnson; am credited as their creator, under a CC-BY 4.0 Vanilla license!
And, if you wanna support me, check out my Patreon! Even a dollar helps, and I’m currently in the process of something to make the dollar-tier more worthwile...
“YOU ARE NOT KNOW ANYTHING, I AM KNOWING EVERYTHING! I KNOW WHO YOU ARE, I KNOW THE THINGS YOU ARE HOLDING BACK! I WIN! I GET YOU, I GET YOU GOOD!“ - Diamond Barracuda to the main program of a sever used for illegal human trafficking before devouring him whole, having nullified his escape routes several hours before hand
The running theme of the Terminal 7 is that they are born from abbadonment, and Diamond Barracuda is one of the saddest examples of that all.
She was created as the ultimate security program; her creator’s life’s work that he toiled away on every second he wasn’t working on his day job, meant to protect the common public from the surveillance and exploitation of both governmental and corporate forces alike.
And then the day came when the men in the black suits came to take her creator away. He resisted. They shot him. And when they searched all the creator’s data for the program, it was gone. The program had fled, scared and confused.
Never again would she let those she was created to save die. And never again would she let herself be so weak.
Her heart is filled with anger, even towards most of the members of the Terminal 7, who she despises for their wickedness. But, the Temrinal 7′s leader; the great and dark Innuendo Show, knows how to push her headstrong will in the direction of their goals; and she still works for them for “the greater good”.
Her powers are sheer speed and brute force, supplemented by the ability to create massive walls of fire and block off any exits or entrances. She is brutal and direct; like a dark counterpart to CY-ZAR-KO (Which is why they both tend to regard each-other as arch-nemeses; with Barracuda bearing more ill will towards her than Cybernetic Queen; who she sees as merely misguided), but also deeply intelligent, as she never forgets a fact, and always is thinking of how to use it.
She is also thinking about whether or not what she’s done is what her creator ever wanted, and if the greater good she works for is really what he hoped to acchieve...
She is free to use, any way you see fit even for profit, as long as you credit me; Thomas F. Johnson, as her creator when you do so. And for the record, her name was based on Diamonds and Rust by Judas Priest and Barracuda by Heart, because of their very similar shared opening riff!
So, guess who’s trying to learn proper 3d figure making with the hell-interface that is Blender?
Now, I just need to figure out the fushlugginer linking of bones to the model...
Compassion!
Given that the Cybernetic Queen verse’s Cyberspace is a realm of digital information combined with the purity of thought, it makes sense that multiple platonic forms of great power could be found there; with the capacity to “evolve” the user’s form.
The most commonly known ones are the Hope Crests, and the most well known of those is the Crest of Compassion; due to the fact that its location is well know despite the fact that nobody has taken it for themselves; thanks to the fact that said location is filled with unspeakably dangerous trials.
Not to mention the rumor that one of the Hope Crests’ evil counterparts, the Hate Crests, also lies in that same location; attracting all manner of foulness to also search...
...And yes, this is almost exactly inspired by Digimon, like a large chunk of the CQ setting.
