Been procrastinating on art this month so have an oc fun fact!!! Kyle and all other soldatins are basically bullet proof to most pistol/smg calibers(9mm, 10mm, 45 ACP etc), once you get to rifle calibers like 5.56 or 7.62 you start to have problems but if you come at them with a pistol or an smg it wont rlly do anything. It’ll hurt but nothing else aside from that. It aint until you get to revolver rounds when you can take out a soldatin w a pistol(44 magnum, 357 magnum, 500 S&W etc).

Soooo i finally made a comprehensive timeline of humanity and the Soldatins. There is a fucking lot here if im being blunt, this is 2 days of brainstorming so if this takes a long time to read im sorry in advance TwT

Im only doing this for humanity and the Soldatins, if i did this for the entire history of my universe or even just the milky way wed be here for days and id probably get writers burn out or smth, and i dont want that, I like doing shit like this, im a lore buff through and through, so if i think of a timeline/lore for a specific species ill do that, just not the galaxy as a whole.

"Catch and release" is typically how you handle it when someone undeserving stumbles into your traps, but this time it's not that simple. You should know better than to take risks like this, because usually they get you into trouble.

This time is no different.

Chapter 5.

The first chapter of my Hellsing crossover fanfic is almost complete. My sisters and I play a fandom game, the ones where you make up a giant universe so you can add all your fandoms in it. Of course we write it to make sense with each other.

I had writers block. But I was able to think about the game and characters. The game doesn't really have a storyline besides the whole. "Hi am so and so and here's a bit of my life." "Nice. Well here's a bit of my life." Borring at times but can't complain to do much.

One of my fandom's is Hellsing. I decided to write a fanfic for it. To get out of the block and to have fun on. I created villains and everything.

Then I thought. What if I tell the world about my siblings and my crazy ass world. But have a storyline. It will be a giant crossover.

And sadly for my sisters. The story isn't 100 to our game. Being that it's set in 2030 and the world is sort of cyberpunk. I already have so much planned. I'll update tags the more shows and characters I introduce.

So far, the first chapter is 85% done. My beta reader is going through it. So I'm waiting. The first things that will be introduced. First is Hellsing. As said before, the story was about them first. Hence everything being in 2030. The second is orginal stuff, like characters. And the third is Black Butler. The shows will be slowly brought in. Most will be hinted at. I'm excited. I've never looked forward to writing something. And it's a long storyline to defeat the current threat.

Musica Universalis, or Sorcery

The influences of the celestial harmonies on the temporal world was only realised after the merging. It is currently theorised that when the the two worlds split in antiquity, the mirror world was left with the magic and this world was left with the order by which the magic worked. This explains why magical traditions in the mirror world are so disordered, even the finest Atlantean traditions were incredibly haphazard. Records of the mirror world indicate no regular "Wandering stars”, which in our world were well recorded for millennia. They had records of irregular stars, but nothing more. 

No sun, no moon, the only light brought by wandering suns lit by Solar harmony, the only order that brought by humanity. After the merge, the shock of a regular day and night cycle with a sun and moon was known to have killed some of the travellers. However, they adapted quickly enough, as our world adapted to the principles of magic.

With the merging of the worlds, the order of granted by the harmony of the spheres allows for ordered magic, rather than extremely difficult refinement of rituals and schedules, which could be lost track of simply by the mentor refusing to set the timers correctly or not telling the right order. As losing track of time is extraordinarily difficult to recover from, oral traditions were given a great deal of respect since the timing between valid periods as well as timings during a spell. Instrumental harmonies helped somewhat, but destructive interference was a regular occurrence when trying to force this, leading to it being a somewhat risky affair to force it.

Kepler, who had been studying the planets to exacting detail had already determined a great deal of the order within the celestial spheres, and his work on “Harmonices Mundi” has been speculated to be part of the mystery of the merging. Nonetheless, it was incomplete, and the seven harmonies were found to be inadequate to fully explain the full spectrum of magic, and to satisfy the orbital mechanics of the planets. It was these inconsistencies that lead to the discovery of Caelus and Neptune, which completed the most of the inconsistencies. There are some arguments around that thanks to modern advances in physics that there may be another planet, and that some of the astral instrumental harmonies might be collected into this.

The currently most well recognised listing of Celestial harmonies among Atlantean traditions are as follows:

Earth - The domain of beasts and plants, harmony couldn’t be derived without existence in relation to another, and so earth is the basal harmony.

Moon - Humans too have an associated harmony, thought distinct by virtue of humans capacity for self-awareness elevating them to lunar harmony

Mercury - Knowledge and foresight, the hour star captures that which is just on the edge of perception.

Venus - The morning star, compassion and healing lying between wisdom and warmth.  

Sun - Physical forces from heat, light, kinetic to other more esoteric forces.

Mars - the red of bloodshed stains both this world and this harmony, and violence and war are both associated with mars.

Jupiter - the order of command comes from Jupiter, who orders the trojans and the greek asteroids by his authoritative harmony.

Saturn - Harmonies of spite and vengeance are nonetheless magical, and under the influence of Saturn.

Caelus - Discovery lead to the cultivation and casting of Caelean harmonies, who allows the imprinting of stillness to magic. 

Neptune - Furthest of the celestial harmonies, transportation and haste is provided by these.
