♡ Pairings: BigBrother!Touya & Reader [Platonic]
Request: This is my first time suggesting this, so I hope I did it right. So I was wondering if you make Big Brother Touya. I was wondering if in this chapter we get to see more of his jealousy growing and clearly showing his signs of his jealousy when one of his siblings play with you all the time, so choose which sibling you want; it doesn't matter. Take the time to write it as well! - @derya1409

Since you were so sweet, I wrote this just for you. I haven’t written for big brother Touya in a while, so I’m a bit rusty. I didn't do 'play'; I just did hints of you guys playing together, so I hope that's okay.

[Y/N is 4yrs old]
Today was the big day. Your older brother, Shouto, said he would bring you home a dessert since you got good marks from your tutor. Typically, this would be Touya’s job. He always praised you for doing well in your academics and would take you out for a dessert as a reward. However, that wasn’t an option for you this time. Touya had been so busy, balancing training, school, and everything else your father was piling on top of him. You didn’t want to burden him with your silly request, so you asked Shouto instead.
You and Shouto weren’t typically close; it wasn’t as if you hated him, you two just didn’t have very many opportunities to interact with each other. When you're both home, he usually spends his free time studying, while you spend yours with Touya. However, with his new busy schedule, you haven't seen much of Touya. He had been to a training camp earlier in the month, followed by various courses and classes that you really couldn't keep track of if you tried. The once-constant source of attention in your life began to fade rapidly, leaving you feeling lonely for the first time. This loneliness led to a closer relationship beginning to form with your brother, Sho.
He seemed to pick up on your isolation and started going out of his way to greet you or play with you between study sessions. You really started looking forward to whenever he came home. So when your tutor gave you your test back with exemplary remarks, and Touya was nowhere to be seen, Shouto was the first person you went to. At first, he just gave you a pat on the head and some light praise, but when you explained how Touya normally gave you a treat, he hesitantly agreed to do the same.
“There’s a cafe I pass on the walk to school. I’ll grab you something on the way back.”
So, now you sat on the couch, impatiently waiting by the window for his return. You could hardly contain your excitement. You let out a small gasp as you saw the front gate open, but it wasn’t Sho who came through; it was Touya instead. You were positive he was supposed to be gone for most of the day, so it was a nice surprise, but you didn’t let yourself get too excited, since he was probably just stopping by for a moment to take care of some things. Leaping off the couch and away from the window, you quickly headed to the front door to let him in.
“Touya!” You shouted, quickly grabbing the boy's attention.
Seeing your smiling face had him running over to you in an instant. He lifted you into a hug with one arm, making sure to close the door behind him with the other. With all the training he does, the suffering and agony he goes through daily, these little moments with you are the only thing that keeps him sane.
“Hey, Kiddo, were you waiting on me?” He smiled, setting you down gently.
“No, silly,” you smiled innocently, running back to your spot on the couch that gave you a perfect view out the window. To your young mind, the question didn’t make sense. Afterall, why would you be waiting for someone you didn’t even know was showing up? Though the remark was far from innocent in your brother's eyes. Touya felt his heart stop. Eyes widening at the singular statement as if still trying to comprehend what you said, or maybe he was trying to convince himself he heard wrong. As if it were a joke. It had to be a fucking joke, but if that were the case, why were you staring so expectantly out the window? Your view of the front gate was quickly blocked as the blinds zipped down. You shouted out a ‘hey’, whipping your head around to see your brother standing there with the cord in hand.
“What do you mean, ‘no’? Who are you waiting for?” He questioned, voice bordering on being almost unrecognizable, but you didn't answer. You ran over desperately trying to yank the cord from his grasp. It was futile. He was bigger than you, by a lot, but your brain didn’t seem to register that as you repeatedly jumped up and tried to yank the cord away. Your actions only made him angrier. Who were you this desperate to see come through the front gate? “Y/N, answer my question. Who are you waiting for?” His voice was even, but his emotions weren’t. He felt himself teetering over an invisible line.
“Big Brother Sho, he said he would bring me home a dessert today. Now, can I please hav-”
“Shouto! You're excited for him?” He shouted, making you jump back a bit. He’s never raised his voice at you. He was stern at times, of course, but he never yelled at you before, not like this. You loved your brother, but right now, he didn’t seem like himself, or the self you were used to, leaving you confused and scared. Tears began to form in your eyes, and in an instant, Touya’s arms were around you. “Hey, hey, hey.” He soothed, lifting you into the air as he rocked you back and forth. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, Y/N. Please don’t cry. I’m begging you.” His hand gently rubbed up and down on your back as you sobbed on his shoulder.
“You’re mean, Touya!”
He felt his heart clench at your words, but he couldn’t argue with you. He’s been under so much stress lately that it's been eating him alive. You’re the only thing he looks forward to every day, and seeing you so excited for Shouto just broke him.
“I know. I’m the worst. Please don’t hate me.” His voice was frantic. You sniffled, lifting your head up from the crook of his neck.
“I don’t hate you, Touya.”
“But you were so excited for Shouto and not me.”
“But… that was because… that wasn’t because I hate you. Shouto is bringing me a dessert for doing well, so I just got a little more excited for him.” You clarified once you found your words. He was still pissed. Hearing you say you were more excited for Shouto than for him had his body seething.
“I’ll buy you sweets. I’ll buy you anything you want. You just have to name it, so why didn’t you ask me instead?”
“You haven’t been home,” you explained, sadness creeping back into your voice. He’d be lying if he said hearing your voice crack while talking about his absence didn’t make him happy. “You’re always busy now. Too busy to play, or read, or do anything really, so I’ve been doing them with Shouto.”
He was in a state of absolute denial at your confession. This dessert incident wasn’t the only instance of Shouto trying to worm his way into your heart? How could you replace him so easily? No. Nevermind, this wasn’t your fault. How could it be? You were manipulated by that vulture who swooped down and tried to sweep you up while Touya was away. You were just the helpless victim in this situation. Of course, you were just acting out of pure childhood loneliness. It was a feeling he knew all too well until you came around. He’ll always forgive you, but Shouto would have to pay for this.
“Y/N, I am never too busy for you. If you need or want anything, I’ll make time for it. You can always ask me. I love going with you to pick out a dessert. It makes me so happy. I can take you right now, if you want.”
“But what about your studies?” You questioned.
“Already done!” A lie.
“And training?”
“I have today off.” Another lie.
“But Sho-”
“Stop worrying so much and go get a jacket on, so we can leave. I’ll let Shouto know, so it won’t be a problem at all.”
Your eyes widened in excitement at his words. You were finally going to get to spend time with him again, and you couldn’t wait. You nodded your head and rushed down the hall towards your room.
As he stood in the entryway waiting for you, the front door opened. Shouto walked through with a dessert box in hand, a look of surprise briefly crossing his face as his eyes landed on his brother. Touya walked over and smacked the container onto the floor. As his Shouto stood there, stunned.
“You have Dad. You have Mom. You have the perfect quirk. You have everything.” His voice was cold and calculated as he stepped closer to Shouto with every word, smashing the dessert against his shoe as he towered over him. “If you think I’m just going to sit there and let you take Y/N away from me, too, you're fucking wrong.”
“W-what?” He was dumbfounded. Touya barely ever spoke to him. He treated Shouto as more of a nuisance than a brother. Now today, out of nowhere, he’s threatening him over a dessert. “Y/N, asked me to-”
“Shut up, I don’t give a shit. I’m warning you now, so listen while I’m still being nice. No gifts. No playing. No desserts, or any other tactic you’ll use to gain her favor. It ends here. Stay in your lane, or I’ll obliterate you.”
“I’m ready!” Your sweet voice shouted as you came running over, coat in hand.
In an instant, the once demonic figure standing in front of Shouto was gone. Replaced with a smile as he whipped around to help you put on your jacket. “Perfect timing. Silly Shouto dropped the dessert he brought, so it’s a good thing we’re going out.”
“Aww, I could've had two desserts,” you whined. As he zipped you up and lifted you into his arms. “Are you gonna come with us, Sho?”
Before words could even get the chance to leave his mouth, Touya answered on his behalf. “No, he needs to clean up his mess, so he’s going to stay behind. Maybe he’ll be more careful next time.”
Touya didn’t let you say goodbye. He carried you out of the house before you got the chance, leaving his brother there in complete silence, frozen in place. He isn’t stupid; he knows how overprotective Touya is when it comes to you. Suppose you can even call it that. The whole family knows how crazy he gets over you. It’s a huge reason their parents are keeping him so busy: they wanted to separate him from you, hoping to give him some time to cool off. But seeing everything that just took place over a dessert, if anything, he’s only gotten worse, so much worse.
