my CybeRune AU

(just Tennas designs + base lore and junk for now.. cuz I haven’t drawn spammy properly.)

I might end up changing tenna’s design but this is all I got for now lmao (I came up with all of this within 2 hours leave me be.)

lore:

This is a random AU I decided to make at like 4 am last week, it takes place in a more futuristic and technologically advanced version of CyberCity but there are a few things that have changed, poverty has gotten worse for one, since it takes place many years after what the original time frame is in deltarune.

since this takes place in a much later date, many things have shifted from the ‘normal’ that we live in today- (er- some things stayed the same but..)

not only is cosmetics, bionics/prosthetics, substances such as alcohol or drugs etc, weaponary, and various other things much more accessible they are also more affordable, people have also found ways to make everything cheaper all the way around for most items.

there are however still highly priced products such as actual healthcare, any sort of consumables that aren’t loaded with chemicals and artificial flavors(anything unprocessed essential.), and any sort of legal troubles are much much harder to work your way out of with any sort of cold hard cash.

The city stretches vvvvery far and it’s very difficult to find your way around if you haven’t been there for a long amount of time.

Tenna’s lore

Tenna has been an aspiring gameshow host since forever and he is still looking around for anybody who would even be willing to work with him, it’s hard to make it in the world of showbiz unless you’re already well established on the screens.

he’s had a small, yet, slightly successful show from within a certain city block in cybercity, many faces he was well acquainted with and others not so.

His financial state wasn’t the best but he was certainly better off then most of the population living in that smoke ridden area, he had access to medical supplies, close communities (not that he ever really was able to have an actual connection with anybody from them…) and a fair 3 person sized apartment all for him.

(There’s much much more I haven’t covered but I wanna post this already so uh- I’ll add more in future posts from now.)

to clear up any questions before they are even asked, 1 yes he can still shapeshift his size but it’s much less voluntary in this world due how desensitized and pressured everyone and everything around him had become to ‘fit in’ (though in this world it’s rather subjective, outward aesthetics and appearances aren’t really the focus of this world anymore, as much as Presence and financial status was. Though dressing the part of the rich man certainly never hurt.)

2 he does still run his ‘Mr ant tenna’s TV Time’ show, it’s just much less popular then before starting out though it does change later on once Spamton is in the picture (similar to originally ofc)

3 all of this will still happen before the Fun gang even come into the picture so there most likely will be a slight (if not drastic) redesign in the far off future for both Tenna and Spamtons appearance.

I’m still working on spamtons design so I don’t hv one set in stone as of yet but I have some doodles/concepts of what it could be like

As for the light world, I haven’t gotten around to figuring all that out yet 💀 BUT I will add it eventually.. and yes designs of Kris, Susie, and Ralsei are to come. Hopefully, probably, maybe…

I have a Fan fiction of this AU that I was going to pair with this post but I’m a really slow and kind of crappy writer so I didn’t know if anybody would wanna read it— 😭 but uhm- if I hear some people asking for it I might try to finish it sooner so I actually cAn post it akdhsjdh
