simon was absolutely not subtle about spending as much time around the shop as he could. whatever extra money he had being spent purchasing useless things just for the chance to hang around zack more.  eventually, (after wandering the store in hopes of gaining zack’s attention) he realized that he was going to have to be the one to step up and say something first.                  “so, uh, you’ve lived here your whole life, right?”  the question seems innocuous enough, and while simon didn’t really know where he was going with it when he asked - he was an expert in making things up on the spot. “i was just like, thinking about going hiking on my next day off. the environment here is gorgeous. and i was wondering where would be the best place to go? and the best place to not get myself killed by like... wild lemurs.”

LOCATION: A LOCAL PUB IN CARIAKI

it reminds her of the various little islands in greece; a flat-roofed whitewashed building perched on the edge of a sea cliff, overlooking the turquoise blue waters of the mediterranean. emma can’t help but bask in the view, even as she nurses a bottle of locally produced light-colored lager beer, irritated scowl set firmly in place. “fucking permits...”

4. Elyse

When I first look at this shot im in love with it. Elyse face is beautiful in this shot and it shows Elyse knows how to work her face and I like the pose too. I think the angles she picked are pretty cool and i like the way she’s touching the wall with her hand. So why am i only ranking this photo 4th? Well the point of this photo was to sell the swimwear and i feel like she’s kind of hidden the product a bit with the post she chose even if i do like it. Overall this is a really good shot it’s just not perfect for the concept.

#2 - Cycle 1′s Snake Beauty Shoot

In terms of an editorial point of view, this is probably the most successful and iconic photoshoot in the first ten cycles. It produced some of the best photos of the cycle, including everyone bar Robin and Giselle’s best photos on the show, and even then it was a close call with Giselle. I think the fact each concept was wildly different made stand out. The photos didn’t blur into each other, but they were linked together by the snakes, forming some kind of cohesion that is really needed for a good photoshoot. If there was ever a photoshoot that I would wanted repeated as a carbon copy it would be this, specially given it being in the first cycle. Would have been nice to see some linking back to the original venture.

Day 7 dinner - build up bagel. This might not be as photogenic but was absolutely delicious! One of my favourite meals so far ☺
