#2 – Kari’s Swarovski Shot

Why was Kari eliminated so early when she produced beautiful shots like this. Her head is stunning here, she is rocking the bald head. Her lips are unique and different, and I love how beautiful her eyes appear in contrast with the pink gems. Kari’s head is unique, and this makes the crystals look absolutely stunning, and expensive.

Lenox is the first to actually deserve her 3 FCOs in a row. Jourdan, Krista, Joanie and Ann were all being overhyped.

I totally agree. The first call-outs for the frostbitten and futuristic shoots are both completely undoubted, she slayed everyone, and the hair flip deserved as she killed it with only 5 frames. Jourdan’s first one was not deserved, Krista’s are all contestable in my eyes, and Ann definitely didn’t deserve most of them. The only one I’d say was also deserved was Joanie, but it came right at the end, so it is no where near as impressive.

When I re-watch photos of cycle 21, I found it's disturbing in terms of photographing. Like. Ice Shoot is completly a disaster. Everybody looks sick or small, by their angles. It's just frustrating, I hope that you'll finish this mess soon.

Yeah, I totally agree. They went way over the top with the make-up on this one. Making them look like actual frozen people just didn’t work. I was so saddened when I first saw the shots for this shoot, as I was expecting to get some gorgeous shots like the ones that came from Cycle 6, but they majorly flopped. To be honest a lot of Cycle 21′s shoots had great concepts, but just didn’t produce great shots. Makes me sad to see so much wasted potential.

Hey. IDk if you already did this but: Top 5 best and worst winners? (The ones you most/least agree with or something like that?) Sick blog!

Great question…for the best winners I think my answers are mostly quite cliche: Saleisha is easily my least favourite winner. Cycle 9 was such a strong cycle otherwise, and honestly it is the only winner who I am hesitant to say even deserved to be overseas. The other clear stand outs are Lisa from Cycle 17, as while she may have represented the personality the show was going for, the show is still a modelling show at its heart, and then Whitney from Cycle 10, as while she did have some potential, she didn’t even rival the top 4 for me in the slightest. The next two, who aren’t really even close to the same level of bad as the worst 3, are McKey and Keith: one was bland and forgettable, and the other was fine, but just so one note.

As for the best (from a modelling perspective over personal) I think the obvious answer is Danielle. Even if I still would put Joanie top when considering Cycle 6, Danielle has proven she has everything a model needs. Clearly one of the strongest winners this show has seen. Brittani is a close second: another winner I didn’t necessarily rave about while on the show, but has more than proven she has everything it took. Next would be Jaslene, who is probably one of the only winners to both be one of my personal favourites, and those I consider strongest from a modelling perspective. The final two would be India and Eva: one was consistently brilliant throughout her cycle, while Eva really grew on me and became the clear top choice at the end.
