One day I was like..hey I want to do an orthographic of the Flying Eyes to show them both with their mouth open and closed.

SO I DID.

It’s been a while since I showed any of them with their Eye/Mouth open so I thought this was a good way to show it off.  Their mouth/eye Opens much more cleanly then the Flying Sphinx who..has their pupil rip apart and then they can’t see.  That’s why they don’t open their mouthes often.  Flying Eyes can still see with their mouth open though since their pupil is still there.

A little recap on them.

These guys are actually from the heavens though you won’t guess that with the first look at them.  The same goes for the Eye Sphinx.  Flying Eyes are entirely created by magic as far as anyone knows and a giant gentleman covered from head to toe in armor named Ganth seems to take care of them or send them off to do tasks.  Because no one knows what Ganth looks like under the armor everyone jokes he’s just made up of Flying Eyes.

Flying Eyes are actually very helpful and come in a few sizes but are usually about the size of a human’s palm to a bit bigger.  They don’t need to eat but may nip at things.  One of their main traits is the fact that they help those with sight impairment see.  They’ll land on someones shoulder, bond with them, and then become the eyes, or eye, for the person with sight impairment.  This can be as big as helping someone blind see to helping someone with colorblindness see in color.  They’re very friendly though because they’re heavenly/holy based they tend to hiss at your necro/undead friends until they get used to you.  They seem ok with Cit, probably because originally even with being Death she’s heaven based.  Trevini has a boyfriend who is a necromancer and..Perrie just continually hisses at him and refuses to like him.

Yaay sketches that aren’t 93045490358340 lines and hard to see what’s going on.

Gwen putting on..suntanning lotion so when her fire explodes around her it’ll super explode while on the beach or ..something.  The vague square in Perrie’s claws is him flying away with her tanning lotion.  Gwen’s walking lantern is laying behind her legs but he’s kind of hard to see.  Also random expressions.  I decided to turn those layers back on so show some of them.  I sketch all around my drawings and usually hide the layers.

And bonus very young Gwen.  I mentioned before but she was made fun of because of her wings and two tails (because of the omen behind both) but her older sister, Yolanda, told her they were beautiful and to embrace what she was given.  Yolanda didn’t know it meant Gwen would grow up into a crazy off the charts fighter but..she’s proud since Yolanda is a tank fighter after all.

Gwen a demi female Chochinobake.  Demi Female Chochinobake have fire hair and fire tips on their tails, males only have fire tail tips and “paper” hair in my and chilopodacrudus world.  Gwen’s two tails and wings come from something else.

Woo hey guys.

So these little ones have been done a while, I just waited for ever to update.  The Flying Eyes were seen in the first picture with my Eye Sphinx's, but now like the Walking Lanterns they get their own picture.

These guys can come in many sizes, shapes, and colors.  They are bigger then most human palms but will sit comfortably.  They look unassuming until they open their mouthes, and then they make wonderful screeching cooing weird sounds.

Like the Eye Sphinx, these guys are actually a heavenly race..they just don't look it.  One of the head angels has Flying Eyes almost continually flying around him.  These guys can help anyone who is sight impaired see, which is usually startling.  They'll sit on the person's shoulder, and if they are blind in one or both eyes they can see again as long as the Flying Eye is sitting on them.  In the world where these guys come from, blindness has several variations, such as only being able to see energy, or seeing in sound.  There are also those with variations of colorblindness.  These guys will let them see in color.

They're pretty sweet, curious little things.  I decided to just have some fun with their wings when I was working on this.

I've been working on other things at the side, along with the picture with the wings from   FFF land (which I think I like now), and I need to get back to the background picture among others.  This has been done since graduation..I've just been kinda biting things to bits.  I just got a call back today for a job and the interview is now Friday.  Hoping the job is enjoyable if I get it.  I'm crazy nervous.
