StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Four: Beech

One of Ophelia’s many fears came true. Rocky woke up to the sight of the Grim Reaper by their bed and Willow’s ghost came out to mourn her.

Needing a way to cope with his grief, Rocky asks Ajay to turn him into a werewolf. Cynthia cheers them on as they have a scrap into the dining area and Rocky is successfully turned.

Baby Rohan is now a toddler, and his dad Justin is an elder.

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Three: Beech

Ophelia mourns the loss of her cousin Nervous and misses Pandora more than ever. It’s a double whammy that sends her into a flour-cradling frenzy.

Rocky and Ravi share a birthday - to elderhood and childhood respectively. Cynthia pays more attention to Ajay and Ginger’s werewolf transformations than her stepson and grandson’s birthdays. She can’t get enough of the strange stuff in Strangetown! If I had traits mods she would 100% be a supernatural fan. She helps Ravi with his homework later on, and Ajay joins them.

Ginger and Justin welcome their second child, a baby boy named Rohan.

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Five: Beech

Nearly everything major happens at night this round, which is fitting for the haunted house of Dead End Lane. Cynthia comes to terms with her mortality by watching the ghosts float around at night but still does the shocked Pikachu face when Grim shows up. Meanwhile, Ginger and Justin break up - their aspirations have changed and their visions for the future don’t match up anymore. (Grimoire’s ghost in the background: 👀)

Justin moves out with Ravi and Rohan as per the custody agreenment. He inherits his childhood home from his mother and introduces the kids to their new life on Cover Up Road, with clean white brick and no ghosts. Well, that’s the idea - his stepfather Hamilton’s grave is on the lot for some reason. Guess I forgot about him. Oops!

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty One: Beech

This house really is big, Pandora thought to herself as she mopped up a puddle left behind by one of the graveyard’s ghosts the night before. She’s going to inherit it one day so she resigns herself to cleaning up after literal ghosts... maybe she can do something about them at some point, but until then, she’s made a wish via the genie lamp Ajay brought with him when he moved in: the power to cheat death. It’s not her genie lamp to use but the Grim Reaper’s connection with this place is too strong to take any chances!

Ravi is a toddler now - and so cute! Ajay adores his little grandpup (and assumes he’ll inherit lycanthropy from Ginger).

Speaking of Ginger, she’s found herself in an awkward scenario: she and Rocky have realised they’re in love with each other. The house is big... not big enough to avoid her step-brother-in-law, though. The family fallout would be chaos if anyone caught on and Ginger can feel Cynthia’s side eye as the falling-in-love sound effects blare. Yiiiiikes!

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Two: Beech

The time has finally come for Pandora to go to university. Ophelia’s going to miss her little girl terribly! Oh, but look at her, she’s grown up so fast and now she’s a young adult, ready to take on the world after everything they’ve been through together.

Ginger’s conundrum continues. She’s pregnant again, with Justin, but her mind keeps wandering to Rocky. She wants him so bad that she considers it cheating when he sleeps with Ophelia... his wife... yeah, not how that works gal!

Beloved dog and pack member Moon dies of old age. Ajay can’t bear to watch and collapses in the prickly pears; Ginger’s devastated to lose her best and longest friend. Goodbyes are hard :(

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty: Beech

This house has a creepy aura but the inhabitants are determined to live out warm visions of cosy bliss within its walls. Rocky serenades Ophelia by firelight, Pandora gleefully juggles in the kitchen, Cynthia shows Ajay her slinky red bodysuit (he falls in love). And the whole family celebrates when Ginger and Justin have their baby boy, Ravi. Ophelia worried her whole life about... well, everything, but top of her mind was being lonely. She never could have imagined this large extended family. She hopes they’ll always be here, for Pandora’s sake.

Justin is somewhere offscreen lamenting his career demotion. I accidentally clicked a chance card option before I could roll for it. Sorry dude!

StrangeSpot, Round Nineteen: Beech

The house that once stood quiet and solemn on Dead End Lane now boasts a hive of activity. Ginger and Justin are expecting their first child together and the grandparents are over the moon! Sadly their beloved cat Cheech passes away, although his work in the Kim family’s scifi sitcom will not be forgotten.

Rocky finds himself demoted back to being an obituary writer. Amazingly, Ophelia doesn’t seem to be worried at all! Pandora has picked up on her mother’s anxieties over the years and realises that as soon as their extended family members moved in, she was getting better at being in the present - not ruminating or regretting as much. It was good to see but it made Pandora wonder if a fear or being alone is hereditary...

StrangeSpot, Round Sixteen: Beech

Ophelia thinks her daughter Pandora is the most beautiful thing in the world and is always showering her with love (even if Pandora, as a teen, finds it a bit fussy sometimes). When Ophelia’s birthday rolls around, the love is returned with a surprise party, thrown by Cynthia. Having so many people filling up the house is the biggest gift to Ophelia. She feels like it’s old times again. Most of all, she hopes there will always be lots of love within these walls so Pandora never has to feel alone with the ghosts when she inherits the mansion.

Gabby sadly passes away a day later. (I hope that’s the end of the spate of beloved family pets dying of old age in Strangetown, for now anyway..!)

Olive appears for what I believe is the first time in ghost form to check on her niece in elderhood. She observes that this Rocky fellow is partnered up with her, but Ophelia doesn’t seem to be rushing into marriage like she did with Robert. Olive always found some independence to be good for the soul but she knows her niece - the question is going to be asked, sooner or later. And Mr Rocky Beech better be Mr Right... being the recipient of a lamp is a good start.
