Seth is the son of Geb and Nut and is the brother of Isis and Osiris. He was never happy with the hand he was dealt and always wanted more. He was the one who should be sitting on the throne, not his brother Osiris. Everything came so easy to Osiris and everyone always thought he was so perfect. It made Seth so angry. So, he hatched a plan to try and kill his brother and then take over the throne.
The plan failed and Osiris kicked Seth out for his crimes. Seth would spend most of his time on Earth after that since he was no longer welcomed with the other gods, and he couldn’t stand to be around his brother. When he would go to Earth he would use the name Cyrus Brooks. He got the power he so desperately wanted in other ways, but he never stopped wanting the throne.
He heard about the death of Eos before he even heard of the affair between the two. Cyrus had been in Europe at the time, but had run into another Egyptian god who told him what had happened. It was not that sad to him, after all, he tried to kill his brother. But, he still moved to Chicago to see how things would go down. If his brother was defeated in the war, Cyrus would try to step in. He works as a bounty hunter in the city.
Noah Brooks: Seth hates Osiris with all of his energy. His brother was the one who everything came so easily to and he got the things that Seth wanted for himself. There is no love or respect from Cyrus towards Noah at all. In fact, if the opportunity presents itself, he might even work against Noah a few times in the war.
Isaac Sinclair: Seth likes to visit the bar quite often since it is owned by a god and not by a human. Despite the fact that the man is a Greek god, Cyrus doesn’t care since he has known many gods from other regions over the centuries. The two can bond over the fact that they have brothers who rule that they don’t get along with.
Theo Klein: Cyrus met the kid when he first moved to Chicago. He had been hunting someone who skipped bail and Theo helped track him down for him. Cyrus sees the potential of the human and is happy he is working for the Greeks, not the Egyptians. If he ever needs his help again, he’ll track the man down and get what he needs.
