I remember all of this era, vividly. 

My mom was afraid to let me listen to Em's album, I remember going to the movies with my sis & having my mind blown @ how great 8 Mile was, I remember 50 hitting the scene & ditching school to buy his album & getting caught by my mom & she had already purchased the album for me. I remember saving my lunch money to buy the Eminem show just to be told I couldnt buy it because I wasnt 17. I remember when all of the diss records dropped & just playing them over & over with my friends.

I'm really fucking terrified of Eminem leaving the rap game.

Honestly, just take a minute.  You're sitting at your computer, or scrolling through your phone through your dash, and all the sudden, it just blows up.  "ShadyXV: announced to be last album"  "Eminem to retire" 

Do you know how fucking traumatizing that would be? 

I don't think I'd be able to get up out of bed the next day.  I don't think we'd be able to go to school, or work, or anything - because that man, who means the world to all of us, stopped rapping.  It's fucking scary. 

And most people don't get it.  "He's just a rapper."  "Why would someone like him mean so much to you?"  But they don't understand, that he saved our lives.  That he's the reason we're still here. 

And without him, we are lost.
