I don't ever get tired of this song. It's one of my favorites ever. It's short enough not to upset my A.D.D. and I lose my mind to it every time.

I've always kind of enjoyed this song, despite the part of me that feels like I shouldn't... but it couldn't be more appropriate for today in the literal sense
I'm taking Pitchfork less and less seriously as every day goes by, but I do enjoy end-of-the-year best lists. Last year's best song of the year according to Pitchfork was "My Girls" by Animal Collective (not a surprise), and I believe 2008's was "Blind" by Hercules and Love Affair. I was perfectly at peace with those selections, as I am with this year's, though I was kind of surprised to see it take the #1 spot. Still, great song and probably deserving. What do you guys think?
This reminds me... I wonder if anyone here has ever heard of the drummer Sandy Nelson... My mom was married to him before she met my dad! Here's a video of him just jammin' out on his drums from a few years ago (He's 72 now) sandy nelson drum solo and here's one of his hits from the early '60s... It hit #7 on Billboard:Let There Be Drums
Very interesting to see Crystal Castles playing live in this particular context. By the way, never before have I seen a band's live show transform from SO bad (HARD Halloween 2008) to SO good (HARD Summer 2010). Next time they're around - they're probably a lock for Coachella - there's not much that'll keep me away from that stage. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a good strobe light.
J Beale: Okay after listening to the album version, watching the live video, then listening to the original again I LOVE THIS SONG. I'm a big fan of progressive trance and this song evokes the same feelings of intensity. Crazy performance and visuals in that video wtf. I see what you mean about being a show to see. I'm a fan, what's another good The Knife song?
Not new. But has to be posted. And I THINK it's one of their lesser known songs. I can't explain what this song does to me... I love it so much... turn the volume WAYYYY up.
This song has been stuck in my head all damn morning. Perhaps by virtue of posting it here, it'll get stuck in yours and thus leave mine. It's also freakin' adorable.
