Malix hadn’t gotten where he had with a soft heart. He was cold, he was cruel and he was the definition of sadistic. The devil loved to torture as a hobby and so to be able to do it for work was something that had him loving his work. Malix snorted in amusement to the woman’s words and as was probably expected from him, he didn’t agree with a single damn word out of her mouth. “Oh really, bitch?” He snarled. “Have you picked up a newspaper recently? The darkness is already winning and we devil’s have yet to do a damn thing. You’re already destroying yourselves and the darkness already won because it’s in each and everyone of your hearts. We’re just trying to speed up the inevitable and bring you all to hell so much sooner.”

Malix scoffed at the strangers question and with an annoyed click of his tongue, he stared the stranger down. “I would be more than happy to take any helpless girl and torture her to death without even a reason why. Were you hoping to find some humanity in me? Hoping to strike against a softer side of me?” The thought was more than laughable but Malix wasn’t in the mood to laugh. Pissed didn’t even come close to describing his annoyance that the bitch just wouldn’t give up what he was after. “The book is more powerful than you will ever understand and will grant my kind the ability to bring chaos to your world while I take the throne by Lucifer’s side.”
