Bandai Namco US Brought Digimon Super Complete Selection Animation D-Scanner to New York Comic-Con 2022!

Well would you look at that! Bandai Namco US not only brought an impressive Tamagotchi booth to New York Comic-Con 2022, but they also had booths for the other product lines, including Digimon. Most notably, they brought the recently announced, and yet to be released Digimon Super Complete Selection Animation D-Scanner! Visitors of the booth were able to see it up and close in an acrylic box, and it appears that they were not turned on.

Preorders end October 31st on Premium Bandai Japan and Premium Bandai America, and are expected to ship March 2023.

the serious answer: i will sound like a hypocrite after writing those stuff yesterday, but frontier gave us a new concept and they actually nailed it. i asked my father (yes, he accompanied me and my brother sometimes watching digimon) and he said frontier makes more sense than tamers, even adventure and 02. the kids should be the hero, and them turning to digimon instead of relying on their partners make them more heroic in his point of view.

the more serious answer: d-scanner is the best digivice, don't tell me otherwise.

Bandai Japan Announces Super Complete Selection Animation D-Scanner

It’s official! After several teasers on social media, Bandai Japan has officially announced the Super Complete Selection Animation D-Scanners! This is an upgraded version of the Complete Selection Animation line. This is not a virtual pet, but rather a prop style Digivice with sound effects, voices, games, and lights. Super upgrades include color screens, and some non-game play features. The D-Scanner even vibrates while sucking up Digicode!

The Super Complete Selection Animation D-Scanner, or SCSA D-Scanner for short is based on the design of the upgraded D-Scanners that Takuya and Kouji get in the show. They’ve been redesigned to be closer to the ones displayed in the show. This includes an updated color, high resolution LCD screen and more.

Two new parallel cards for the Digimon Card Game will be included with your purchase of the SCSA D-Scanner. Bandai Japan has also posted a video showcasing all of the new features.

Premium Bandai America Lists Digimon Super Complete Selection Animation D-Scanner

If you had your eyes on the recently announced Digimon Super Complete Selection Animation D-Scanner and you’re living in the United States, this is great news! Premium Bandai America has listed preorders of both the red and blue Super Complete Selection Animation D-Scanner.

The purchase comes with two Digimon cards in English, however it is important to note that this is the Japanese version in the Japanese language. Preorders are listed for $120 and are open until October 31st, 2022. Delivery is currently set for May, 2023!
