Purva bhadrapada and D-9 chart stuff
Guys, I recalled something 😳😳😳
When I was 19 I literally wrote down on my diary this: “I felt as if I was jumping on a singe leg while I had another leg this whole time, but it was bend and tied in a way so I could not use it previously”
I have my moon in purva phadrapada in my D-9 chart which is literally ruled by Aja Ekapad — the one-foot goat
What the fuck….
Also I kicked my left heel off in november last year and it hurts to this day (I should’ve gone to physician a long time ago, ik)
Purva phadrapada to put it simply: either very good (leans towards spirituality and redemption of the sins through fire) or very bad (like breaking bad type bad yk — being involved in really dark dark stuff). And actually it’s what I have experienced — going through darkness to the purity. I was never religious like that, but now I attend church every sunday, because I know it’s a single way how I can keep my sanity.
The thing that I do wander about now is when the D-9 chart starts to manifest. I broke down into the darkness when I was 16 and I was literally forced to go though this purifying fire so I would stay alive. So maybe D-9 (moon placement especially) starts to manifest in the teenage years? Because a while ago I’ve heard that D-9 starts to manifest when saturn matures — around the age of 27. But now I kinda disagree on that point
Rahu In The Navamsa: The Thing You Swear You’re Not Obsessed With
One of the funniest things about Rahu is that most people don’t realise they’re obsessed.
Because from the inside, Rahu doesn’t feel like obsession.
It feels like:
“I just really enjoy this.”
No, you don’t “just enjoy it.”
Your entire mind is occupied by it.
Rahu in D9 is where your soul says:
Just one more thing.
And the funny thing is that Rahu usually feels completely reasonable to the person experiencing it.
Everyone else can see it. You can’t.
That’s why it’s called a blind spot. You can also check where D9 Rahu sits in your D1 since it will apply.
♈ Aries / 1st House
You think you’re interested in self-development.
No bitch.
You’re occupied by yourself.
Who are you?
Who are you becoming?
How do people see you?

Why do you feel different?
You can spend years reinventing yourself and still feel like you’re not done.

You think you just like nice things.
No.
You’re occupied by the experience of being alive.
Food.

No.
You’re occupied by emotional security.

You may tell yourself you’re just ambitious while quietly structuring your entire life around your reputation and accomplishments.

You think you care about community.
No.
You’re occupied by networks.

And that’s usually how you find your Rahu.
Not by looking at what you desire.
By looking at what quietly occupies your life whether you meant for it to or not.
What A D9 Non-Negotiable Looks Like In Real Life
Today, the UK Prime Minister announced a social media restriction for under-16s. What caught my attention was something he said.
He specifically said he was not prepared to compromise on this.
As I’ve mentioned before in my readings and astrology posts, I often view the Navamsa (D9) as the chart of our non-negotiables. The things we can debate, reconsider and negotiate around are one thing. The things we fundamentally believe are another.
That immediately made me curious about his Jupiter.
Aquarius Shatabhisha in the D1.
Aquarius in the D9.
The same sign in both charts.
Aquarius is associated with society, collective systems and technology. Shatabhisha is associated with intervention, reform and addressing perceived societal problems.
The policy itself concerns technology, children and society. The underlying reason is behind making this decision was based on his moral lens around social media access, not restriction.
What interests me is how often repeated D1 and D9 placements seem to show up as themes people simply cannot compromise on.
This is one of the reasons I always check the Navamsa.
If you’d like me to explore the repeating themes between your D1 and D9, feel free to message me for a reading.
Why Navamsa (D9) Ketu Becomes Your Biggest Ick, Why Rahu Becomes Your Blind Spot & Why Saturn Feels Like an Assignment From Hell
Ketu feels like a visceral…meh
One of the reasons I focus so heavily on the Navamsa, especially when it comes to Ketu and Saturn, is because they’re felt…on a visceral level.
I’ve said it before, but Ketu in the Navamsa feels different from Ketu in the birth chart. You might be able to negotiate your way out of your D1…but you can’t lie to yourself about your Navamsa, you feel it in your bones.
Ketu in Navamsa feels like you can’t force yourself to participate in something from a surface lens anymore. No matter how much everyone else makes a big deal out of it. No matter how much society tells you it matters. No matter how much you try to convince yourself you should care. You can’t and it starts to become more obvious over time.
Saturn in Navamsa feels different too.
The best way I’ve ever described it is this:
You know when you go outside and it’s raining, and your socks get wet and you have to wear them for the rest of the day. The little squish squish that reminds you that you feel icky? Yes that’s Saturn!
You can do it. You probably will do it. But every step feels heavier than it should. Every step requires effort.
Rahu is harder to spot
People rarely recognise their Rahu. Someone with Rahu in the 7th won’t say they’re obsessed with relationships. They’ll say they’re looking for love.
Someone with Rahu in the 10th won’t say they’re attached to status. They’ll say they’re ambitious. Someone with Rahu in the 1st won’t say they’re obsessed with becoming somebody. They’ll say they’re finding themselves.
That’s what makes Rahu so difficult to identify.
Nobody thinks they’re doing Rahu. They think they’re being reasonable.

the chart of one's dharma: the navamsa/d9 chart
the navamsa is probably my favorite divisional chart, if i were to pick a favorite out of them all. it is also a chart that is often dumbed down to only one of its many aspects, and this pisses me off!!! highkey!!!
so, i figured i shall share my personal take on the navamsa and its general importance
alongside its dub as the chart of one's dharma, i also like to call it the chart of the inner world. you see - dharma is a personal, subjective subject, because dharma is simply our views, our thoughts, our internal landscape. the navamsa is the chart of this internal landscape that we all possess. it is a map of what goes on within.
the chart is often dubbed as the marriage chart, and there is some truth to this, but it is only a fraction of what this chart is about.
in fact, the only reason why the navamsa is described as the marriage chart is because, when you find the right partner for you, your inner self will naturally bring itself out much more that it did prior to your relationship with said person. your significant other is SUPPOSED to uplift and bring out the best in you, hence, the navamsa is associated with marriage and partnership. this is also due to societal norms, but this post isn't going to go over that aspect, as i'm pretty sure everyone reading this should be aware of how the general masses view marriage, lmao.
the navamsa is also said to "activate" around the age of 36, if you're not yet married at that point. this is, of course, when people tend to have their midlife crises, which tends to trigger a want to express this inner landscape externally.
personally, i find the word "activate" a bit problematic and even misleading - in the sense that the navamsa is ALWAYS active, it is just not always externalized. just because your thoughts and beliefs aren't being acted upon, doesn't mean that they're not there. they typically just need some of trigger to be externalized, don't they? rather due to your significant other (in a healthy relationship, that is), or from any sort of event that'll make you turn inwards, like a midlife crisis.
or, if you're anything like me, this will be triggered by an intense ego death! LMAO. i also have a wonderful partner so i can also attest to this aspect of the d9 being activated, but i personally needed more of an internal push.. does that make sense?
i may expand on this in the future, but this is just my general take on the navamsa - thank you for reading thus far, and if you have any other titles for the navamsa like i do, do lmk! i'd love to hear yall's take on this wonderful chart.
I may be going through the canonical event of changing to galactic center mid-mula...
it's going to be hard to accept my pushya moon lmao
