Alright so I'm thinking about dad mori again. Truly this is a mold that has grown on me and won't leave.

I have some old draft that I might rework.

One of them is about dazai testing whether mori cares for him. Because a traumatized suicidal child would test his equally smart carefaker.

What are the ways dazai would do this? Smaller ways, like asking for attention and being annoying. Bigger ways, like planning things where mori is needed to avert his way or take some sort of loss for the Mafia.

something i've been wondering about lately - have you ever thought about how hippocratic-oath-au!mori and atsushi would get along? as i've been writing bsd fic of my own lately, i've been thinking A Lot about the two times atsushi and mori interacted in main canon, and how surprisingly chill their interactions were, and it struck me that they havent met in the hippocratic oath au and i wondered what that would look like in that 'verse too

I think Oath!Mori and Atsushi would get along amazingly well. Atsushi has basically been adopted by the family.

Although their approaches are very different to problems, Atsushi would try to learn and understand instead of simply writing off Mori as evil. Oath!Mori would see a young man who has managed to maintain his kindness and respect that, but would not be shy about explaining some of the darker things of life and people.

This blog, despite how dead it is, has recently passed 250 followers. So thanks for that. There’s still another chapter of HO to be published, and a 21 page outline for something that...might be finished sometime after I finish book one of my original novel.
