“Come on, we have to wait nicely, okay?” you sighed, standing Minjoon by your feet, your youngest looking up at you with confused eyes.
“Mummy,” he pouted.
You chuckled, crouching down and holding him in your arms, your two girls stood only inches in front of you, swinging back and forth in excitement as people started to pile off the plane.
“Daddy!” Sarang shouted, running forward as Sangyeon came out of the gate, Saerom and Soohyun running after her.
One by one, the members all came out of the gate.
“Daddy!” Haemi finally shouted, running forward with Eunbi as Changmin walked out the gate, dropping to his knees, his arms wide to accept his girls.
“Go on,” you whispered to your son, “look! Run to Daddy!”
Changmin smiled as he looked to you and Minjoon. As the youngest out of all the TBZ kids, everyone waited for the days on which Minjoon made his big milestones. Every yawn, first stretch, first roll, first words. And now, the time that everyone had wanted, arguably the most exciting time to have a child...
Your son giggled, looking to his dad as he ran forward. Changmin’s jaw dropped, his eyebrows raising and his eyes widening.
Eunbi and Haemi only giggled beside him, beckoning their brother forward as his clumsy steps brought him into his dad’s arms.
“Oh my god!” Changmin exclaimed, “he’s walking!”
You laughed, watching as Changmin scooped Minjoon up into his arms, carrying him back over as he pulling you into his arms as well, kissing your lips softly.
“You didn’t tell me!” Changmin pouted.
You chuckled, cupping his face, “but isn’t this a pretty awesome way of seeing it?”
Changmin laughed, looking to the boy in his arms as he hugged him again.
“You’re so grown up,” your husband said, stroking his son’s head, “I can’t believe I missed it.”
“You’re here now,” you said, stroking his hair.
“And so are my girls!” he smiled, putting Minjoon back down, spending time to individually hug Haemi and Eunbi.
“Daddy! We’re gonna order pizza!” Eunbi exclaimed, grabbing Changmin’s hand.
“We are?!” Changmin gasped.
The girls giggled, nodding as the three of them led the way to baggage claim, you and Minjoon close behind, practising his steps.
“You know Daddy’s case, right?” Changmin teased, “I’ll help you when it comes.”
Eunbi, Haemi and Minjoon stood close to the carousel, watching the luggage intently as Changmin sniffled, finally pulling you into a hug.
“I missed you,” you chuckled.
“I missed you too,” Changmin sighed, “wh-when did he?”
“It was only a couple days after you left,” you shrugged, “he was walking with a helper, and then just decided he didn’t need it.”
“And now he can even run,” Changmin chuckled, pulling away and looking back as his son came towards him, “what is it, bud?”
Minjoon just smiled, sticking his arms up, indicating to be lifted.
Changmin laughed, lifting up his son and cuddling him into his arms, “you’re still my baby, hmm? Oh, girls, that one!”
