summary: announcing your pregnancy to the members and to Chan’s family
age: Joey = fetus (1 month / 2 months)
warning: pregnant!reader, mentions of nausea and throwing up
_____________
“It’s so big!” you exclaimed.
Chan laughed, shrugging, “it’s alright.”
You smiled, holding his arm as the two of you walked up to the door of his childhood house.
“You alright?” you asked, as Chan knocked on the door.
Chan smiled, nodding, “I’m… happy.”
You grinned, squeezing his arm as the door swung open, tearing your gaze away from each other.
“Mum!” Chan smiled, as you took your arms away for him to hug his mum, Jessica.
His dad, Jack, came forward and pulled you into a hug, greeting you kindly.
“Y/N! Oh, we’re so happy you could come too.”
“Y/N!” Jessica exclaimed, shoving Chan to the side and pulling you into a hug.
“Hi! It’s so nice to see you!”
Chan laughed, “come on, let’s actually go inside.”
Jessica let go of you, leading you both inside, “come, come, we’ve made lots of food for you! You must have had such a long journey.”
“Hannah, Lucas, stop picking at the food,” Jack scolded, making you and Chan chuckle.
“Let them eat, it’s fine. You didn’t have to do this for us, mum!” Chan rolled his eyes.
“Of course I did. There will never be a day when you come round and I won’t cater for you,” Jessica pouted, placing her hand on Chan’s face.
Chan shrugged it off as you smiled.
“Thank you, Jess.”
“Yeah,” Chan smiled, pulling you into his side for a hug, “you’re like a grandma already.”
“Don’t joke, Chan,” Jessica said.
“Yeah, you’ll get her hopes up,” Jack scoffed.
Hannah looked at your’s and Chan’s smiles.
“They’re not joking!”
“What?”
“Oh my god!”
“She’s only 4 weeks, we found out the day before we left for Australia but we had to tell you in person!” Chan exclaimed.
“Okay, okay, we won’t get too excited!” Jessica exclaimed, “oh my god, congratulations!”
She pulled you in a hug as you laughed.
“Thank you,” you cried.
“How are you feeling?!”
“Um, alright. A bit nauseous but I’m all good, when we get back to Korea we’ll have a scan and we’ll sent you a copy as soon as possible!”
“I’m so happy for you!” Hannah smiled.
“What did the boys say?” Jack asked.
“Well… We’ll address that back in Korea, I guess,” Chan smiled, “you absolutely can not tell anyone. You four are the first to know. The boys will be next but not for another month.”
___
“Guys, I need you all to just stay calm, okay?” Chan laughed, directing the members into his house, all of them giddy with excitement and general energetic behaviour.
“You have a surprise! I love surprises!” Jeongin exclaimed.
“I’m so curious,” Changbin whined.
“Hyung, please tell us,” Felix begged.
“Just go! To the living room and we will tell you!”
“Go, go, go!” Hyunjin shouted.
Chan laughed, leaning on the stairwell, “Y/N!”
“I’m here,” you chuckled, already arriving at the top of the stairs, stepping down carefully.
Chan gushed, placing his hand against your face, “you okay?”
You nodded with a smile, “threw up a bit but it’s okay.”
“Good,” Chan smiled, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“Hurry up please!” Jisung shouted.
You laughed as you and Chan headed to the living room, “stop it! You’re all so impatient!”
“We just wanna know,” Seungmin whined.
“Okay. Guys it’s really not too exciting. It’s actually pretty scary, and nerve-wracking.”
“Just tell us!” Minho yelled.
“I’m pregnant,” you said, nervously, “two months.”
“Oh my god!” Felix screamed, jumping up from the sofa and engulfing Chris in his arms, “congratulations.”
“Congratulations, Y/N,” Changbin smiled, standing up and pulling you into a hug.
Chan let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding, “thank you guys. I know this is scary for Stray Kids’ future but I promise I can handle it.”
Jisung tutted, “we know you can. You’re Bang Chan.”
phrase(s): 29: “I’ve got the baby, you go back to sleep”
age: Sunmi = 8 months
warnings: none
________________
You opened your eyes, scrunching up your face as you realised the reason for your awakening was your baby’s screams as she cried.
“It’s okay,” Jisung soothed, stroking your hair, “I’ve got the baby, you go back to sleep.”
You groaned, stretching your tired limbs as Jisung climbed out of your bed and wandered across the hallway to Sunmi’s room.
“Sunmi-ya,” he called softly, “why are you crying? Hm? My poor baby.”
He felt her nappy, which seemed to be dry, “are you hungry?”
But this wasn’t her usual hungry whining. She was screaming and screaming, her face getting hot.
“Okay, okay, shh shh,” he soothed, bouncing slightly as he held her in his arms, “is it your teeth, baby? Are you in pain?”
Just one month ago, she had started chewing on everything she found around the house, and sure enough upon inspection, she had two little teeth growing. However a month later, both you and Sunmi had found that growing teeth was not much fun, and instead was extremely painful. (Both for her gums and for your ears).
“Okay, come on then,” he whispered, carrying her to the kitchen where he got a frozen chew toy out from the freezer and waved it in front of Sunmi, “here look! Chew on this baby, I promise it will make you feel better.”
But Sunmi didn’t understand that yet, and instead kept wailing and wailing.
“Baby girl, please,” Jisung pleaded.
You sighed, finally getting up, “Sunmi-ya, what’s wrong?”
“Ya, I told you to go back to sleep,” Jisung said, turning to face you.
“I’m not deaf, Ji, I can hear her crying,” you chuckled, “it’s okay. I’m here to help you.”
“I think she’s teething, but she won’t chew on the frozen toy,” he said with a sigh.
You nodded, “just hold her so her face is over your shoulder; I’ll put it in her mouth.”
Jisung nodded, holding Sunmi higher up.
Her chubby little fist was in her mouth. She chewed on her fingers as the rest of her face was bunched up.
“Here, don’t do that, baby,” you spoke softly, removing her hand from her mouth and immediately replacing it with the cold chew toy, “does that feel nice, hmm?”
You took her hand and wrapped it round the toy so that she could hold it herself.
Her cries reduced to whimpers as she found her gums getting less and less painful.
“Good girl,” you praised, stroking her hair.
Jisung sighed in relief, bringing her back down so he was holding her at chest height, “see? I told you you’d feel better baby.”
You smiled, resting your head on Jisung’s shoulder, your hand rubbing his back, “you know she’s not gonna go back to sleep now, right?”
Jisung laughed as lightly as he could, “yep! I know!”
phrase(s): 33; “stop being a baby hog!” & 37; “I love you both so so much!”
age: Dohwan = 4 / Kyunghwa = 1 week
warnings: none

“Dohwan-ie!” Wooyoung squealed, making your son scream with laughter.
You squeezed your eyes shut before opening them again. You rolled over and saw your baby girl with her eyes opening, squirming in her cot.
“Good morning,” you whispered, the sound of your husband and son laughing and playing still able to be heard throughout the house.
You stretched before climbing out of bed. Doing your hair and sliding on your slippers first, before heading over to Kyunghwa’s cot and un-swaddling her, lifting her up into your arms.
You carried her over to your bed, the blanket had been shoved over to one side so there was more than enough space to lay her down to change her nappy.
“Did you sleep well, baby girl?” you asked, cooing at her sleepy, bunched-up face.
You quickly changed her nappy, disposing of the dirty one on your way out the room.
“Let’s go and say hi to Daddy and Dohwan, Kyunghwa-ya.”
“Kyunghwa!” Wooyoung gasped, upon hearing both of you approach, “Dohwan-ah, let’s go say hi.”
“Mummy!” Dohwan giggled, running to you and hugging your legs.
“Good morning, baby,” you smiled, patting his hair.
“Stop being a baby hog!” Wooyoung exclaimed, now you had both children surrounding you.
Giggling, you handed Kyunghwa over into his arms.
You bent down and kissed Dohwan’s head as he whined, lifting up his arms to signal that he wanted to be carried.
You frowned, still sore from giving birth to Kyunghwa only one week ago, “I’m sorry, Dohwan-ie.”
“But you carried Kyunghwa!” he whined.
“Because Kyunghwa’s tiny!” you exclaimed, “only this big! And she doesn’t weigh much at all.”
Dohwan sulked, walking off back into his bedroom.
You pouted, looking to Wooyoung.
“He’ll be okay,” Wooyoung reassured you.
“Okay,” you sighed, “I’m gonna make breakfast.”
Wooyoung nodded, before talking loud enough that Dohwan could definitely hear him in the next room, “wow, Mummy’s making breakfast! I wonder what she’s going to make for us!”
“Well, I think I’m gonna make pancakes,” you said, walking over to the kitchen, playing along with Wooyoung’s plan.
“Woah, and Kyunghwa doesn’t get any! Not a single pancake! All for me, Mummy and Dohwan-ie. Oh, if Dohwan’s going to join us for breakfast.”
“Daddy! Look at this toy!” Dohwan exclaimed, running out his room.
You chuckled, beginning to make the batter as you watched Dohwan try and un-obviously assure the two of you that he will be joining you for breakfast.
“Mummy, are you making pancakes for Kyunghwa?” Dohwan asked, coming into the kitchen.
“No, baby,” you shook your head.
Against Wooyoung’s plan, Dohwan looked concerned.
“I think she needs to eat,” he said.
You giggled, leaning down and kissing his cheek, “it’s okay, baby boy. She’ll eat, but she doesn’t eat food like us. She only has milk.”
“Oh,” Dohwan said, “okay.”
“I love you both so, so much; you know that right?” you asked, pulling him into a hug.
“Okay, Mummy,” he said.
You laughed, “good boy. Why don’t you help Daddy set the table, okay? This will be ready soon.”

Xx
Taglist: message/comment me about it :)
You groan as you finish getting sick for the third day this week. You were beyond confused because it’s not like you were constantly getting sick. You hadn’t been feeling great for a few weeks now, but you had only just started throwing up within the last week and it was randomly throughout the day.
If you smelled something a bit too strong, you’re stomach would turn and next thing you knew you’d be running to a bathroom. Or you’d just be relaxing around the apartment and suddenly you felt like you were going to be sick even though you had been completely fine five minutes ago.
George had started to notice how much it was wearing you out, but he had no idea why you would be having this or what could be causing it.
He hated seeing you so tired and just not feeling great in general.
“Freddie, I’m just worried about her. She seems to be getting sick nearly everyday for no reason at all.” George sighs as he sits with his friends for lunch.
Since graduating they had made it a habit to stay in touch and up to date with each other on a regular basis.
“I’m not sure, George. I can’t think of anything. Has she gone to a doctor yet?”
“No, she’s refusing to saying she’ll be fine. She said she used to have something similar to this throughout school when she’d get real stressed. I don’t know what she’d be stressed about right now though.” George sighs, running a hand through his hair.
“I remember that during school. For nearly two months she’d get up every morning and get sick. She always felt fine a few hours later, but I got worried about her too.” Katie adds, taking a bite of her food.
“She wouldn’t eat much at all for quite a while.” She adds after a moment.
“Don’t mind me jumping in, but could she be pregnant?” Angelina asks, looking around the table before settling on George’s face as he scrunches his nose in disbelief.
“No. I mean, we’re real careful.”
“Do you guys’ use condoms?” She asks, cocking a brow at him before taking a bite of her meal.
“We haven’t been for awhile, bu-“
“Is she on any sort of birth control? The pill or implant? Anything?”
“No...”
“Has she had her period lately?” She asks, pointedly.
“Ohhh, I don’t think she has...” George realizes, his face dropping.
“I’d have her take a test to check, then.” Angelina states, shrugging.
“Yeah....yeah. We-Uh, we’ll do that.”
~.~
“Hey, darling?” George calls out as he enters the apartment you two share.
“In the bedroom.” He hears you call out.
He smiles, kicking off his shoes before walking into your shared bedroom to find you curled up on the bed.
“How’re you feeling, beautiful?”
“I’m tired, Georgie. Today’s been rough.” You sigh, turning enough to look at him to find him frowning.
“I’m sorry, darling.” He pouts, setting the bag he has down and climbing into bed with you, opening his arms to let you cuddle up into him.
He smiles as you curl up into his arms, using his one hand to gently rub your back. This has always been one of his favourite things to do with you. He loved cuddling, even more so when you two could cuddle without anyone else around.
He took great joy in sitting in silence with you in his arms. If there was one thing he would happily do anytime of day, it would be to take you away from the rest of the world and just hold you.
“Darling, we’ve never really talked about it before, but would you ever want to have a baby?” He asks after a few minutes, still rubbing your back as his other hand plays with your hair.
“Where is this coming from, George?” You ask, looking up into your boyfriend’s eyes.
“I’m just wondering. I mean, we have so many kids come into the store and I love helping them. I just wonder what it’d be like to have one of our own.”
“Georgie,” you smile, cuddling into his frame even more, hugging his stomach as you lay on him. “I’d love to have a family with you. I’m not sure we’re quite ready right now, but definitely in the future.”
“What would you say if we were to have one right now?” He asks nervously. He’s overjoyed to hear you say you want a family with him, but if you’re already pregnant, how would you feel about starting one so soon?
“What do you mean? You want to start trying?” You ask, looking up at him with a small smile of confusion on your face.
“I was thinking...well actually Angelina mentioned it when I told them all I was worried about you getting sick more and more lately, but is it possible you’re already pregnant?” He asks, surprising you because you hadn’t even considered the possibility.
“I mean, I don’t remember you having your period lately, in fact I don’t remember you having one for at least two months.” He continues, watching you for any sort of reaction.
You frown a bit, thinking it over. Now that he’s mentioned it, you really haven’t had a period. You had been worried for a few days when your period was late. You were normally very regular, but eventually you started. Thinking back on it now, it had been unusually light and short.
George watches as you think, not sure what you could be thinking about and worrying you might be upset about it.
“Darling?” He asks cautiously.
“It’s...possible.” You say, looking up at him and frowning a bit in thought.
“Yeah?” He asks, smiling a bit as he holds you closer.
“Yeah. Now that you’ve mentioned it, I haven’t had one this month and last month’s wasn’t normal.”
“How would you feel if I were?” You ask after a moment, a bit nervous in even considering the possibility.
As George had pointed out, you two had never really talked about it before. Would he be ready to have a child now? Would he even really want a child or was he just thinking about it?
“If you are pregnant? Darling, I’d be so happy. I’m more than ready to start a family with you and if now is when we start than now it is.”
“Really?”
“Really. I love you so much, princess. While we didn’t plan on it, I don’t see any better time to start than now. I mean, we’ve been together for nearly six years now. I’d love to marry you someday soon. I don’t see anything wrong if we were to have a kid.”
You smile, reaching up to kiss him, happy that he had lent down himself. He rubs your back and pulls you closer to him. You’re both smiling when you finally pull away from each other.
“Well, we should probably make sure I am before we get too happy.” You say, sitting up a bit to look him eye to eye.
“Lucky for you, I went and got some tests. To be prepared.” George smiles as you chuckle and shake your head at him. You were so in love with him you sometimes just couldn’t understand it.
You grab the tests from him and go into the bathroom as George sits at the end of the bed, waiting for you.
When you come out he smiles at you, thinking you had found out.
“Well?”
“We have to wait a few minutes.” You chuckle, going over and standing in front of him as he wraps his arms around you, his head resting just above your stomach and he smiles.
He could be having a kid with you and that thought overjoys him. He’s always wanted a family and since meeting you, he can’t imagine having a family with anyone else. Even before you had started dating he knew that you were the one he wanted to be with for the rest of his life.
You’d be such a good mom and he would do everything he could to be a good father. He was already imagining what it would be like to have a few little ones running around and playing with inventions he makes for them.
“I love you.” He mumbles into your belly.
You smile and run your fingers through his hair. You can’t believe this is happening. You’re not upset in the slightest, you had always wanted to start a family when your younger, but it was nothing you were striving for. You were just enjoying being with George and starting your lives together.
Your timer goes off and you go to turn to head back to the bathroom when George grabs ahold of you.
“You okay, Georgie?” You ask, worrying he might be having second thoughts.
“Wonderful, darling. Could I be the one to read them?” He asks and you chuckle, smiling at your adorable boyfriend.
“If you’d like to be. I don’t mind.” You smile at him. He smiles even wider and you can’t help but kiss him.
“Come on then!” He smiles, pulling you behind him as he makes his way to the bathroom to read the tests.
He smiles at you as he picks the first one up. Looking down at it, his expression becomes a bit blank.
“What is it, George?” You ask, moving closer to him.
“Y/n, it’s positive.”
“What?”
“It’s positive!” He chuckles, smiling at you as he wraps his arms around you and lifting you up.
“We’re going to have a baby, darling.” George whispers, kissing you.
You take the test from him and look at it yourself. You see the big plus sign and smile. You were pregnant. You’re pregnant with George’s baby. You and him were going to have a family together.
“I love you, Georgie.” You smile, staring up at him in awe.
“I love you too, darling. I can’t believe we’re having a baby. We-we have to tell mum!” He smiles, kissing you as he apparates the both of you to the burrow.
“George!” You hiss, laughing along with him as you land in the middle of the kitchen.
He had a habit of just apparating in the middle of somewhere without so much as a warning. You weren’t fond of it given how he’s scared you more than a few times coming home from work, but it’s just something he likes to do and you wouldn’t ever ask him to stop. Secretly, it’s one of the many things you love about him.
“George? Y/n! What are you two doing here?” Molly asks as she walks out from the living room.
“Mum, we have some great news! Sit down, sit down!” George urges, pushing his mother to sit at the table as you giggle. Molly looks so confused, and even a bit worried, but does as George asks.
“What’s the big news?” She asks, looking between the two of you as you smile at each other, George grabbing a hold of your hand and kissing it.
“Mum, y/n’s pregnant.” George announces proudly, a wide grin on his face.
It takes her a few seconds to register what he says, but when she does her face breaks into a smile as she clasps her hands together.
“You are?!” She asks, excitedly.
You smile, nodding at the woman who’s become a second mother to you.
“Oh Merlin! Congratulations you two!” She smiles, jumping up and crushing you and George with a hug.
“Mum, careful. Please.”
“A hug won’t hurt the baby, George.” She states, hitting the back of his head.
“Let me hug, y/n.” She requests, causing you to chuckle.
“Oh congratulations, dear. I am so happy for the two of you. Oh! Does this mean you two will be getting married soon?” She asks, looking from you to her son who stands to the side of you and her.
You and George look at each other seeming to have a conversation with your eyes but if you were asked what about you weren’t sure you could say.
“Well?” Molly asks, looking between the two of you.
George winks at you as he kneels down in front of you, pulling a small box out of his pocket.
“Well, y/n? Would you marry me? I know this may all seemed rushed, but I’ve been wanting to ask you for awhile, I just could never figure out how.”
“You’ve had a ring already?!” You ask, chuckling as he nods, blushing a bit as he smiles.
“Of course I’ll marry you, Georgie. I love you more than anything.” You smile, kissing him.
“I was really hoping you’d say that.” He smiles, standing up and kissing you back.
“Well, put the ring on her, George.” Molly says, causing the two of you to chuckle.
You loved Molly but you were always aware that she was more invested in her kids’ relationships than she let on.
“I think she’s more excited than the two of us combined.” George jokes, kissing you again before pulling away and sliding the ring on your finger.
summary: the kids seeing you and mark fight for the first time
ages: Sammy = 10 / Mia & Daisy = 6
warnings: none
_____________
“Sammy?” Mia whispered, “Sammy!”
“Hmm?” he opened his eyes, rubbing them slightly, “what Mia?”
“Mummy and Daddy are fighting.”
“What?” Sammy asked, sitting up, before finally hearing shouts coming from you and Mark, “oh.”
“I’m scared.”
“It’s okay Mia, I’m sure everything is okay,” Sammy smiled, dragging his little sister up onto his bed, “where’s Daisy?”
“Uh, I don’t know,” Mia hummed.
“Let’s go into your room,” Sammy said, taking Mia’s hand and walking into the twin’s bedroom, expecting to see Daisy in her bed, “huh? Daisy?!”
He walked back out onto the landing and saw Daisy sitting on the stairs.
“Daisy. Are you okay?” he asked.
“Do you think they’re going to deep-vorce?” Daisy asked.
“Divorce, Daisy. And no, mummy and daddy love each other.”
“It doesn’t sound like it,” Mia sighed.
Sammy sat down next to Daisy, still clinging onto Mia’s hand, “maybe they’re just tired.”
“Jesus Chris Mark, look at you! You look like a fucking shell of yourself! Your eyes are so sunken you look like a ghost!”
“So this is about my looks now?!”
“No! Of course not!” you laughed with no humour, “you’re just so dense, you literally can’t see yourself can you?! You’re killing yourself Mark! And you can’t even see that!”
“Oh my god, Y/N, I’m working! I’m working a proper job and earning money for our family!”
“You spend so much time away from our family - I’m surprised you even care!”
“Of course I fucking care!”
Mia whimpered, “I don’t like it.”
Sammy sighed, “come on guys, we shouldn’t be listening.”
“No, I need to know,” Daisy protested, “I want mummy and daddy. In the same place.”
“Daisy I promise you, they’re not going to get a divorce. This is the first time I’ve ever heard them fight. That’s 10 years!”
“But you didn’t wake up. What if they fight a lot and we don’t wake up?” Mia asked.
“Guys, it’s okay,” he sighed, wishing to belief himself.
“I know you think you’re the only one working hard, but I am so tired! I have been at home every day taking care of our kids and cooking and cleaning because you leave early morning and don’t come home until fucking god knows when at night, Mark! I’m tired too!”
“Just stop talking, okay?! I’m going to bed.”
You sighed, putting your shaking hand over your mouth to stop yourself from crying. It was 3 in the morning, and you’d stayed up for Mark to come home from work.
Watching Mark, he walked towards the stairs, feet heavy before he stopped and his face dropped.
“Guys.”
Daisy and Mia jumped up, running into their bedroom.
“Guys!” Sammy called after them.
“Oh fuck,” you breathed, “Sammy?”
“Sammy, buddy, I’m sorry,” Mark said, walking up the stairs towards his son, “I’m so sorry.”
“Are the girls okay?” you asked, stroking his cheek, “I’m sorry, Sammy, we didn’t mean to wake you up.”
Sammy shook his head, “Mia and Daisy woke me up. They were scared.”
Mark nodded with a sigh, “are you alright?”
Sammy nodded, the thoughts of Daisy’s words pounding in his head, “you two… are gonna stay together, right?”
“Of course, Sammy, oh my god,” you breathed, wrapping your arms around your son, your heart felt like it was breathing out of it’s chest. You hadn’t meant for this to happen, the mix of tiredness and concern for your husband just got the better of you.
“I’m sorry, Sammy, it was my fault, I didn’t come home until 2:30,” Mark sighed, “and your mum was just worried about me.”
“And you don’t do that every night, right?” he asked, suddenly feeling like he was young again, asking dumb questions just for some comfort.
“No, baby, we never fight,” you shook your head, “it’s okay. I promise nothing is happening, nothing is changing. Me and your dad are just tired.”
Sammy smiled, “I said that to Mia and Daisy, I did.”
Mark smiled the same smile back, ruffling his son’s hair, “well done, buddy. You’re so grown up.”
“Do you want me to put you back to bed?” you asked.
Sammy nodded, despite his dad’s comment.
“I’ll go and check on the girls,” Mark said.
You nodded as you headed with Sammy into his room, “well done for comforting the girls. You’re so amazing.”
Sammy smiled, “I agree with you Mum, by the way. I think you should tell Dad to only work 2 hours every day.”
You chuckled, “I wish, baby. Maybe I’ll tell him to come home for dinner time every day though.”
He nodded, yawning as you pulled his blanket up around him.
“Good night, baby,” you said, kissing his forehead.
“Night mum.”
“They’re alright,” Mark said, “Daisy was already half asleep.”
You chuckled.
“Apparently they have a friend at school who’s parents recently got divorced,” Mark said, “so they’re a bit shaken up, but alright.”
You nodded, following Mark into your shared bedroom before wrapping your arms around him, “I just worry about you, Mark. I didn’t mean any of that.”
He smiled, tightening his arms round your waist, “I know, darling. And I’m sorry. Mia said she missed me putting her to bed and I just–”
You smiled, cupping his cheek, “just be home a little more often, that’s all I’m asking.”
Mark nodded, “believe me, it’s all I want. I will.”
summary: haein stands up for you while you and changbin fight
age: Haein = 19
warning: fighting

“Changbin, I don’t want to fight!” you exclaimed.
“So you just wanted to insult my presence for nothing then?!” he shouted.
“I wasn’t, I was just saying you could help me out a bit!”
“I’ve just come home from work, Y/N! I’m sorry I don’t know everything that needs doing around the house!”
“Well you could ask!” you yelled back.
Haein rolled his eyes from the living room.
Changbin groaned, “you’ve always been saying this. You used to say you were taking care of our kids. Now what?! They’re not little anymore, you’ve lost your argument.”
You sighed, shaking your head and going back to cleaning the kitchen.
Haein was about to walk to his room, but stopped, joining you and Changbin in the kitchen.
“Get out Haein,” Changbin said, wearily.
“No, I won’t. What the fuck do you think you’re doing?!” he exclaimed.
“What?” Changbin asked.
“Haein-ah,” you warned.
“Mum, he’s being horrible to you! What are you doing, Dad?!” Haein yelled, “just because you go out to work, doesn’t mean that you’re the only tired one in the house.”
“Hae—”
“Maybe mum was asking cause of her bad back!”
“Bad back?” Changbin repeated.
Haein scoffed, “you don’t even know. You’re saying she doesn’t raise us anymore, she was helping me with my studies yesterday! Do you even know what college I wanna go to?!”
“Of course I do,” Changbin said, “you wanna be a teacher. You want to go and study at Yonsei.”
“Oh that’s good, cause you haven’t asked about it. You haven’t helped me do that!” Haein exclaimed.
“Haein-ah, it’s okay,” you soothed, grabbing your son’s arm.
“I’m sorry,” Changbin said, “I’m sorry I shouted at you, Y/N, and I’m sorry for not being here often Haein-ah. I wish I could be.”
Haein’s eyes filled with tears, “I just don’t want mum to get hurt.”
“Ya, idiot,” you chuckled.
“I’d never hurt your mum!” Changbin exclaimed.
Haein glared, “you just did.”
“Haein-ah,” you said, forcing him to look at you, “thank you. But I know your dad won’t actually hurt me. Look how tired he is.”
Haein looked at his dad’s face. Changbin had lost weight recently, his eyes surrounded by bags. 3RACHA’s new roles as songwriters for multiple artists across the music scene was affected all three of them.
“You need to sleep, Dad.”
“Ya, what?” Changbin asked confused, “what’s wrong with my face?”
“You’re tired. I can see it. I’ll make you dinner and then you’re gonna go to bed.”
“No I need to—”
“No,” Haein said, “listen to mum.”
“That’s the word,” you said, starting to prepare ingredients for dinner.
Changbin sighed, pulling Haein into a hug and whispering in his ear, “I’m sorry. Thank you for protecting your mum. You’re such a good kid.”
Haein smiled bashfully, “I didn’t want to swear at you.”
Changbin laughed, “it’s okay. I deserved it.”
Haein nodded, “you did. And don’t do it again.”
“Idiot,” Changbin muttered, watching Haein leave the kitchen, “go and study.”
“I will!”
Walking over to you, Changbin wrapped his arms around your waist, “I’m sorry, Y/N. I’m childish.”
You hummed, “it’s okay, Bin. It was just a flippant comment but you’re very irritable at the moment.”
Changbin sighed, “why didn’t you tell me about your bad back?”
You shook your head, “it’s okay, Binnie. I sprained it the other day, but it’s not serious. Just let me take care of you, and promise me you’ll go to sleep when I ask you to.”
“When Daddy here?” Airi asked, her fingers loosely laced with yours as she danced around your feet.
You hummed, “soon. Just keep looking at the gate.”
Airi leaned her head on your bump, sighing.
"I know, baby, just wait a little bit more, okay?"
There were crowds of fans and paparazzi waiting for the arrival as well, but you as well as other wives and children of NCT members had managed to get to the front.
"Look, Airi, they're starting to come out," you said, tapping your daughter's shoulder as you saw the first people come out the gate.
"Daddy!" Ava yelled, watching Johnny come out the gate.
Ava took Jasper's hand and went right up to the gate, Johnny warning her to stay there.
"Airi, look who it is!"
Yuta on the other hand didn't care about the rules, "Airi!"
Your little girl broke out in giggles, running towards her dad who she hadn't seen for three months, "Daddy!"
"My Airi!" Yuta exclaimed, dropping to his knees and opening his arms, letting Airi run into them and receive the biggest hug he'd had in months, "oh, my baby."
He pulled Airi out of his chest and looked at her face, holding her chubby cheeks in between the palms of his hands, "your hair's grown, baby."
Airi smiled, but her eyes were filling with tears.
"Oh baby," Yuta said, holding in his own tears as he picked Airi up into his arms, "I'm sorry I went away. But you know I missed you so much, baby doll, and I'm here now. It's okay, I'm not going anywhere."
Airi giggled as Yuta carried her to where you are, his mouth dropping when he saw you.
"He's grown a bit since the last time you saw us," you giggled, walking to him and pressing your lips to his.
He put Airi down so he could wrap his arms around you for a moment, pausing and placing his hand on your six-month pregnant bump, "I'm sorry, I've been away so long."
"But you're here now," Airi said in Japanese as she looked up at her dad.
Yuta chuckled, nodding and stroking Airi's hair, "and I'm not leaving for a while. Come on, let's go home."
