You can’t convince me that Valjean and Javert haven’t picked up on the things the Amis say like one of them will just randomly quote a meme or something and the other won’t even notice cause they’re used to hearing it at this point

One day they’re arguing and Valjean says “bottoms don’t deserve rights” and Javert just freezes-

Jean slept on the couch that night.

Javert: I’m gonna ask you one more time to refer to me by my proper title infront of my fellow offi-

Bahorel: guys shut up, the twink is talking

Bahorel: I’m eating the wall cotten-candy

Eponine, Cosette and Musichetta having a girls night at Cosette’s house because they think no one is home

Fast forward a few hours later and Javert is sitting in the living room with the three of them, his hair braided and a face mask on watching “Rent” because it turns out he was sleeping upstairs and they didn’t notice

Ok but like

Javert and Valjean become father figures to the Amis and co..

Like Javert’s always there to bail one of them out of jail after a protest/doing graffiti/punching a fascist

Valjean who always makes sure Cosette is sent with baked goods for the meetings

Javert who gets up in the faces of people bothering his “kids”

Valjean who makes sure they all eat, take their medications if they need, and stay hydrated

Javert who starts to question his life decisions when he comes downstairs in the middle of the night after Valjean went to answer the door only to see all the Amis sitting on his couch while his husband reads them a picture book because they’re running from the police and scared

Just give me dad!Valvert please
