Imagining going out to the lake with him, holding hands on the way there and complaining that my feet hurt till he carries me on his bakc the rest of the way. We brough along some of the geese, and he has one tucked under his arm. I'm babbling and singing some random songs while we walk, till my feet feel better and he puts me down. I skip a little bit ahead of him holding one of the geese in my arms. When we get to the water, I run in immediately, plopping the goose down beside me. He sets the other goose down in the water, but doesn't get in yet. I come running up to him and drag him by the hand into the water, giggling.

We spend the day splashing in the water and watching the geese swim. He shows me where all the berry patches around the lake are, and I try (unsuccessfully) to catch the little fish that swim around the bank with my bare hands.
