When you told him to fetch your small suitcase for your hospital bag he was a little confused

All the stress was building and this was the breaking point
Wheeled you into the hospital and almost startled the nurse at the receptions desk

Once in your room just slap him or pull him by the ear to listen when you say to relax a little
After the initial adrenaline rush of getting out and to the hospital he relaxed and held your hand
He’s not the best coach, he got a little lost in the classes, but he loves you and he’ll cheer you on
“You got this, Babe!”
“Break my hand if you have to to get them out!”
Truly is in awe at how strong you are
Looked down when the doctor said you were crowning that may have been a mistake, boy almost passed out
Like don’t get him wrong what you’re doing is amazing but that was some of the craziest shit he’s ever seen happen

Was too afraid to hold her so he just watched as you did and watched the nurses like a hawk when they were doing there checks on her
His cool exterior melted when he gave her his finger to hold, her little chubby fingers so tiny it seemed fake
“You’re so little. It was you throwin all those heavy kicks in there?”
He felt kinda awkward when it was just him and her after you fell asleep
You really are the person he depends on and will going forward with all this
“Hey, try not to judge me, this is my first time.”
“I may not know what I’m doing all the time but you will always have your kick ass dad to protect you.”
