We can’t push our kids to be stronger by enforcing them to be courageous. We need to be in teaching and modeling mode. We must show them how we are courageous in our lives and allow them to see first hand as we conquer our own fears. That is an opportunity to teach not push. When we push they move further away from us because nobody wants to be bullied into overcoming their fears. Especially children. Parent out of the box.
