@maluminspace: YESSSSS BABY TWIN BOY AMD GIRL PLS!!! THAT WOULD BE SUPER ADORABLE 😭 You could start it where they’re tiny newborns like still in the hospital and they’re so tiny and soft in their little blankets and hats and he can’t stop staring them and he wants to pick them up and cuddle them but they’re sleeping and you tell him he needs to sleep too but he doesn’t want to leave the twins yet and I’m getting carried away so I’ll stop 🙈
“They’re so tiny.”
Michael whispered, for not the first time that day. You chuckled from your spot in the unfamiliar bed, pulling the scratchy blankets up a little further around your waist, trying to get comfortable enough to get some sleep.
“You haven’t slept in nearly 24 hours, Michael.” You reminded him, not able to take your eyes away from where your husband was perched on the end of your bed, his gaze stuck on the sleeping bundles in the crib in front of him. One boy, one girl. His heart felt so complete. The tone of your voice reminded him of his own mother, who found him many times as a teenager, still awake in the middle of the night, too focused on his video games to sleep. Although, his lack of sleep right now was for a much different reason. It reminded him that you were in fact now just that - a mother. To Nancy and Felix Clifford, who he couldn’t avert his attention from. “You should get some sleep, before they wake up and we have to do everything again.”
“I just can’t stop staring at them.” He murmured softly, letting his pointer finger run up and down Felix’s soft cheek. The tiny boy stirred a little, an even tinier hand escaping the blanket he was swaddled in to rub his eyes. “Oh my god, babe. They’re the cutest babies i’ve ever seen.”
“If I say you can hold them, does that mean you’ll at least try to sleep?” You tried to bargain with him, knowing it would be a struggle to get him to stop staring at them without giving them a cuddle first. His eyes lit up at this - with excitement, and nervousness. Holding one baby seemed terrifying enough, but two? It made his heart race a little faster.
“I don’t want to wake them up, though.” He looked at you anxiously, and your heart warmed at the anticipation in his eyes.
“You won’t, Mike. If you’re gentle, they’ll probably just stay asleep on you.” You reassured him, slowly moving in bed so you were sat up closer to where Michael was. He gently moved the little crib closer to you, where you could reach the babies without enduring too much discomfort. Michael moved so he could sit comfortably near the head of the bed, letting the pillows support his back so he could hold the babies securely. “Here you go.”
“Woah.” The noise rushed past his lips before he could stop it, almost as a reflex. The sweet snuffles and tiny snores spilling from Nancy’s pouty lips made his heart ache, at how much he loved her. She was a warm, comforting weight on his chest, and it made him feel so content.
“Are you ready for Felix too?” You asked him, making sure he had a good grasp of Nancy as you cradled Felix in your hands. He nodded, making sure he had one firm but gentle hand on Nancy’s back, to keep her snug against his chest. He held his free arm out, wrapping it around Felix’s back as you laid him on the other side of his chest, right next to his sister.
“There we go. Hi, babies.” He cooed softly to them, trying to relax his tight grip on the twins, so they could snuggle a little closer to eachother. They had spent nine months together growing inside of you, all they knew of the world was eachother. They felt secure together, and Michael wanted them to feel safe. He had been waiting for this moment for nine months - it felt so surreal. “I’ve got you.”
You sat quietly next to them, letting him have his moment with the new babies. You rested your head on his shoulder, setting back into the bed, appreciating the quietness of the room.
“You did so good, baby.” He spoke softly against your hairline, his lips resting there as he kissed your forehead. He was in awe of you, of your body, and everything you had done for him. “I’m so proud of you.”
“We both did it.”
A/N: So there we go! We have our Michael universe! Thank you SO much for the suggestion @maluminspace - I hope you love this! I’m doing blurb week until next Sunday so if you have any requests please let me know here ♥️

nnnnn Michael with 20 for little one pleeeease? 🥺🥺🥺🥺
20. Tickling little one’s chubby thighs until they laugh.
Bath time had always been Michael’s Thing with his daughter, ever since she was born, nearly a year ago. No matter how much work he was meant to get done in the studio, he always made sure he was home for bath time.
“Look who’s here, baby girl!” You exclaimed, bouncing your daughter in his arms as you watched Michael walk through the front door, home after a long day at the studio. He dropped his bag at the door, locking it behind him before coming over to greet his little family.
“Hi, sweetheart.” He grinned at her, reaching out to pull her into his arms. She settled with him immediately, smiling around her pacifier as he pressed a kiss to her soft head. “I missed you so much today, angel. Are you ready for bath time?”
She cuddled into his body, melting his heart as well as all the stress and tension he had felt all day from being in the studio. They were so close with their new album, but it was taking a long time to perfect and he was feeling the pressure.
He took the baby upstairs as you grabbed your current book as well as a mug of tea, going to relax as you let them have their time together. You heard the barn beginning to run, followed by the splashing of the toys that Michael had thrown in.
“Let’s get you all clean sweetheart, huh?” He asked his daughter, undoing her baby grow and diaper. He tested the water with his elbow to ensure it wasn’t too hot or cold, before deciding that it was perfect, and settling her into the bath. She was always at her happiest when she was getting attention from you or Michael - which was most of the time - her gummy smile did not leave her face the whole time she was in the bath. “Did you have a good day with Mama?”
He listened to her babble as he washed her gently with a sponge, cleaning the dried food stains from her soft cheeks and then rubbing shampoo through her fair hair. Her increasingly sleepy eyes looked up at him every so often, splashing her toys in her hands - a lot of the water ending up on Michael, too. He didn’t mind though; being a dad was messy, he’d grown to accept that over the last few months, and he embraced it now.
“There we go, all clean. Come here, sweet girl.” He grabbed the soft towel from the radiator where he had left it to warm up, scooping her out of the bath and into his arms, wrapping her up to make sure she wouldn’t get cold. The warmth of the towel made her more sleepy, a wide yawn escaping her lips as she settled in his arms.
Entering her nursery, he set her down on the changing table, pulling out all the necessary things he needed to get her ready for bed. Although she was getting more sleepy, she kept babbling, telling her dad many stories. He talked along with her, occasionally throwing in a “wow, is that so?” or “really? tell me all about it.”
It wasn’t until he started to massage lotion into her chunky legs that she started to giggle loudly, making him remember how ticklish she really was. “Is that funny, baby girl?” He asked her, letting his fingers gently dance up and down her legs to her little feet, which kicked at his hands as an attempt to get them away. “You’re just so ticklish, aren’t you?”
There was no sound he loved more than her sweet laughter, bringing a grin to his face and happiness to his heart that he just couldn’t stop. He kept tickling her chubby thighs and blowing raspberries all over her stomach, not being able to get enough of her giggles filling his ears.
“I see someone had a lovely bath.” You cooed at your daughter, entering the nursery after hearing the laugher from downstairs and not being able to stay away. You’d also brought her bottle upstairs, ready for her before she went to sleep.
“We did, didn’t we angel?” Michael exclaimed as he managed to dress her into soft pyjamas, before picking her back up into his arms and kissing her soft cheeks. “All ready for bed.”

Little one getting in a laughing kick where everything is funny with Michael.
46: Little one getting in a laughing kick where everything is funny.
“What’s so funny, you?” Michael cooed at his baby girl, entering the lounge where she was sat in her bouncer, kicking her legs and squealing with happiness at the sight of her Dad. “You’re in a good mood today, aren’t you?”
She reached her little chubby arms up to him, as a gesture for him to pick her up. He leaned down, unclipping her from the bouncer but not picking her up straight away. He let his fingers dance up and down the sides of her body, as well as under her arms and chin, making her erupt into laughter and the sweet giggles that he loved to hear.
“Come here, angel.” He pulled her up into his arms, cuddling her to his chest and pressing a kiss to her rosy cheek. He sat down on the sofa, raising his knees and resting the baby against them. He covered his eyes with his hands, hiding behind them before pulling them away and shouting “Peek a boo!”
Her face lit up and she squealed happily, laughing so hard that her pacifier fell out of her mouth. “Is that funny baby?” She tried to grab Michael’s hands and push them up to his face, as a gesture for him to do it again. “Where’s my baby girl gone? Peek a boo!”
He kept the game going for a while longer, loving how every time he moved his hands away from his eyes, his baby girl’s face lit up with excitement. Until he heard his phone ring from where he had left it in the kitchen, and he thought he should answer in case it was important. He set the baby back down into her bouncer, but whilst rushing into the kitchen, he managed to trip over one of the toys left in the middle of the room. He didn’t fall onto the floor, but it was enough for bubba to notice and burst into laughter at her dad’s actions yet again.
“What do you think you’re laughing at?” He exclaimed, forgetting about his phone and crouching back down in front of her and tickling her again. “Is Daddy falling over funny? Or do you just have the giggles today?”
With a kiss to her forehead, he finally made it into the kitchen to retrieve his phone. He knew his baby girl was watching him, so before re entering the room he hid behind the door, just peeking his head around until baby girl spotted him. He heard her shriek with laughter again, bringing a smile to his own face - just like she always did. He kept popping his head around the door, every time met with the laughter that he loved so much.
“Everything is just so funny to you today, huh angel? What’s got you in such a good mood?” She reached up for him again, and he dramatically swooped her into his arms, laying on the sofa and plonking her down on his chest. “My sweet girl, I hope you’re always this happy.”

"Shall we go feed the ducks, angel? Michael asked his little girl, who's face lit up at the thought of going to the park to see the ducks. She had seen them the last few times you had been out and about, and now they were her new favourite animal. Taking her to see them was a good way for her to practice walking, as well as getting some fresh air.
It was a cool autumn afternoon, there was a light breeze in the air, but not too unpleasant that you couldn't leave the house. "Lets put your coat and shoes on, little one!"
Michael slipped on her little trainers and tied her shoe laces, baby girl watching intently before he grabbed her light jacket and helped her to zip it up. He pulled a beanie down over her head, before gently tapping her nose - identical to his own - and planting a kiss to her forehead. "Are we ready to go?"
He settled her into the pushchair, making sure the straps were fastened and she had her baby doll clutched tightly in her grasp. She had been walking for several months now, and she would usually ask to walk once they were out of the house, but Michael knew she'd get tired and they'd need the pushchair at some point. He also made sure he had the food to feed the ducks, including grapes, seeds and nuts.
He closed and locked the door behind him, before setting off and pushing baby girl along the street in her pushchair. She kept pointing out things she saw along the way - every time she saw a cat, she'd excitedly call out "Daddy look! Cat!" and Michael would praise her for being such a smart girl.
They'd get a bit further, before baby girl would ask "Daddy? Walk now?" and Michael would agree, "Of course, baby girl!" and he'd unclasp her from the pushchair, letting her toddle along next to him. She would always want to hold his hand whenever they walked outside the house, which melted his heart, although it took ten times longer to get anywhere with her little legs. It also made him feel much better that she'd never run off, because she always held onto his larger hand with her tiny one.
"Daddy look! Ducks!" She squealed excitedly, when the two of them reached the gate of the park, her eyes lighting up as she watched them all near the lake.
"I see, baby girl! Shall we go see them?" He made sure he held onto her hand tight as they approached the lake, always slightly nervous when they were near water. He retrieved the food for the ducks from the pushchair, handing a few grapes to his daughter and laughing as she threw them at the ducks. "Careful, sweet pea. Be gentle, okay?"
She nodded softly, and giggled as she heard the ducks quaking as they waddled around the lake. She imitated the quaking noise, making Michael laugh and his heart melt as he saw how happy she was to watch the ducks.
After spending a while feeding the ducks and playing on the park, baby girl had started to yawn and Michael knew she'd be ready for a nap soon. "Shall we head home, sweetheart? Do you want to walk or get in the pushchair?"
"No walk, Daddy." She told him, reaching up at him so he would pick her up and put her back into the pushchair.
"Okay, baby girl. Come here." He scooped her up, strapping her into the pushchair again with a kiss to her forehead before setting off home again. "You've done so good with your walking today, angel!"
It didn't take long before the gentle movement of the pushchair sent baby girl to sleep, snuggled up to her doll, content with the time she had spent with her Dad at the park.
4: Being immensely proud when little one takes their first steps alone.
“Michael! Come here, and bring your phone!” You called from the lounge, excitement evident in your voice at the sight in front of you. Michael immediately dropped what he was doing, grabbing his phone from where it was charging on the worktop in the kitchen.
“What’s up, babe?” He asked as he entered the room, his eyes catching on you and his toddler, the two loves of his life. The little girl’s big green eyes lit up as he came into view; she was such a Daddy’s girl, that even the sight of him would bring the biggest smile to her face. She had a pacifier in her mouth to keep her content, her light brown hair a mess on top of her head after taking a nap. She smiled softly at her Dad, melting his heart, like she always did.
You were sat cross legged in front of the sofa, facing her, and she was stood up in front of you, her arms out and tiny hands clinging onto one of your fingers. “I think she’s actually going to walk this time.” You replied, trying not to make a big deal out of the situation and pressure her, but finding it difficult to not let your excitement show too much. “She’s so close, Mike.”
“She’s definitely not wobbling as much as she usually does.” He stated hopefully, leaning down to press a kiss to her forehead as he sat behind her, moving a bit closer so she wouldn’t have as far to try and walk.
“Come here, sweet pea. Are you gonna walk to Daddy?” You picked her up and brought her towards you, leaving kisses to her soft cheeks before turning her around so she was facing Michael. “Move a bit closer, babe.”
“I want a cuddle, baby girl. Come here, come and see me.” Michael cooed at her tenderly, holding his arms out in front of his body as a gesture for her to go to him. The toddler looked at him, and then looked down at her feet, trying to work out how she was going to get there. She whined ‘Dada’ softly, reaching her arms out to Michael so he would pick her up. “No no baby, you’re gonna walk to me!”
Michael so badly wanted to reach out and pull her into his arms - he could never resist a cuddle with her, whether it was the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. Holding her was his favourite thing in the world, it had been since she was born, and he was finding it difficult to resist but he knew she had to learn. He wanted to cry at how big she was, how she wasn’t a tiny baby anymore who would sleep on his chest all day long. She was growing up, just about to take her first steps, and he couldn’t believe it.
“Come here, sweet girl.” He murmured, gesturing with his hands for her to walk to him. “You can do it.”
She looked up at her Dad again, eyes focused on his face. She then turned to look behind to you, as you left another kiss on her cheek and encouraged her to step forward. “Go on, baby girl. Go and get Daddy.” She got her balance, and you let go of her hands as Michael slid his phone towards you, allowing you to start filming. You focused the camera on your two loves as she clumsily put her foot forward, you and Michael trying not to squeal with excitement and put her off. She stepped forward again with her other foot, her movements unsteady but she had taken her first step.
“Come on sweetheart, you’re so close! One more time.” Michael grinned at her, as she giggled at him and then took another wobbly step forward, then another, and she fell into her Dad’s arms. He pulled her close and laid backwards on the floor, holding her so tight to his chest as he pressed kisses all over her face. “That’s my girl! You did so good, angel.”
“I can’t believe she did it! Well done baby girl, we’re so proud of you.” You cheered her, ending the filming on Michael’s phone and setting it down, before moving to lay next to the two of them as you kissed her. “You did it baby girl!”
“She’s so big now.” Michael pouted, holding her even tighter, like it would stop her from getting any older. He rested his cheek on her head, the baby content with the attention she was getting from both parents. She was so cuddly - she’d happily be held all day, and her favourite place was Michael’s warm chest. “Promise me sweetheart, no more growing up, okay? You’ve already grown enough.”
“She’ll be going to school before we know it.” You replied, running your hand through the messy hair on her head softly. Michael shook his head, planting a kiss on her nose before saying, “she won’t, babe. I just told you, she isn’t allowed to grow up anymore.”
You laughed at your husband, rolling your eyes as you watched your baby girl yawn and cuddle her face into Michael’s body. “I think you need a nap after all that excitement, huh?”
So the rest of the day was spent napping on the sofa together, as well as encouraging her to walk a little further every time you tried. Michael felt as though every time he blinked, she was getting older. But he couldn’t be more proud of his baby girl.
