Wanted to draw a father-son photoshoot type style between Yagi and an older ph!Deku who, for this au:

--decided to make some time from his busy schedule and organise this as his way of officially acknowledging that no, he may not be Allmight's secret lovechild but after years of feeling outwardly flustered over the idea, he has indeed always seen him as a father figure and isn't so afraid of telling it to the whole world now that he's more secure of himself, his views about his quirk and the responsibilities that come with it, and his place by AM's side.

Jokes on him thinking this is big news since everyone, including his mother, are not blind to the way he practically brightens whenever he's on camera and someone asks him Allmight related questions. Brightens not like his fanboy self would but more so with genuine protective warmth and respect a son/daughter would show when thinking of a [beloved] parent. The same expression he'd give when his mother is mentioned. Yagi just gets flustered and blunders his way during his own interviews when asked but he never denies the implications that he sees Deku as his own.

Still, Deku's mom, partner, friends and the public indulges him by pretending to be shocked by the news of Yagi being "adopted" into the Midoriya family and let it be known that Inko herself had to drag Yagi into the studio so that her son and (platonic partner? "Work" husband even though they're not actually co workers? Co parent in crime?) could have their picture together in an official, domestic capacity. The kind of picture that would be printed properly and framed on the wall of Inko's and Deku's living rooms and kept religiously safe in Deku's wallet and phone. Yagi definitely has his placed on his bedside table and is his wallpaper.

The Support Item

"Young Midoriya!"

Izuku stopped at the sound of his name from the familiar voice, thrilled to be sought out by his mentor.

"Hi All Might!"

"I've got something to tell you, my boy. I just heard of this great new support item called 'Up Dog.'" Eager to hear more, Izuku couldn't help but ask.

"What's 'Up Dog'?" Izuku's mind reeled from the possibilities. A speed enhancer? A flying device?

"Not much, what's up with you?"

Izuku blinked a few times as All Might beamed. Once the joke caught up to him, he dragged his hands across his face in misery.

"All Might!" he whined. His mentor's laughed boomed.

Deku being tormented by bad dreams, often waking up screaming and crying. Later that night he is seen breaking into the teachers dorms to see all might. Aizawa never mentions it to anyone, and it’s gotten to the point where Deku will say hi to him while breaking in through a window.

Deku randomly giving all might a hug and running away before he can process what’s happening, which leads to him thinking he is being haunted by a hug monster.

Deku loves to surprise all might, because at first he thought it would be a challenge, given the fact he is the number one hero, but in his true form it is incredibly easy to startle or surprise him. And so he keeps doing it because it is funny.

Due to All Mights injury and lack of time for a relationship (there are plenty of other reasons but I won’t list them here) All Might could not have kids. He always wanted one, but never could have one. And so imagine how happy he was when Deku called him dad for the first time.

Deku would sneak out of his apartment in middle school all the time to see all might, and one day his mom wants to know where he is going.
