At the outset of the "I Can Stop A Speeding Bullet" campaign, organizers approached long-time Running Rebels participant Dae Hill to serve as the face of the effort.
He knows the realities of gun violence well. Hill was shot by a stray bullet in a drive-by at the age of five, lost a cousin to a shooting at the age of 11, and was charged at 16 with possession of a deadly weapon.
