If it helps, I have a job where I can't keep up with Tumblr during the day. So I decompress with it on the bus and before bed - by this point, often the jokes are made, the group has moved on, so I "like" and appreciate...but tend not to participate per se.
Ugh, dumb jobs, getting in the way of fandom stuff. xD I understand though. There definitely seem to be peak tumbling times when everyone’s around and chatting. Even if someone sends me a message or an ask (or now, a reply) in the middle of the night though, I try to respond when I can! But it’s not always easy when it’s not in the moment.

Becoming very aware via this meme that there’s a whole lot of semper!fic I haven’t read which = YAY!
I can’t really believe how much I’ve written given how short a time period I’ve been in this fandom. >.> I’m always tempted to lament the fact that I could have spent that time writing original stuff, BUT I’m trying not to do that, because 1. I get a lot of enjoyment out of writing fanfic, and 2. I think it’s helping me be a better writer overall.
